Signet Financial Group subarau signet insurance Vacaille, California

On 4/28/06 a Subaru salesman insisted on us taking out the Signet Financial Group Service Contract Refund Agreement for six years.  If we don't use them for repairs after the term expires on 4/28/12 we were guaranteed our money back in full. Two days before I paid for the car in full I called the salesman P. Formica at Colonial Subaru Motor Cars LTD in Kingston, NY and told him to disregard this Signet contract.  He shoved it on us and told us it was backed by Subaru, and would be refunded in full after the 6 year term on 4/28/12. 

On 4/30/12, I called Signet Financial Group in Vacaville, CA and another party answered on their phone line 877-474-4638. I called the Subaru dealer, Tom Murphy, and was told Signet went bankrupt.  He offered us three years of car insurance at no charge if we bought a new car.  The total of the insurance $1050.00 + $84.00 tax = $1134.00
