 On or about October 21, 2010 I purchased a David Yurman inspired pendant from Silver Best Buy Jewelry at silverbestbuy.com.  I received the pendant and it was not as pictured on the nice website the merchant displays.  I paid approximately $94.19 plus shipping for the pendant.  I immediately e-mailed a representative of silverbestbuy.com and informed them that I would be returning the pendant for a refund.  I was told that I could do this.  On November 1, 2010 I shipped the item back to Silver Best Buy Jewelry through the United States Postal Service (USPS).   A week later I spoke with a representative of  USPS  by telephone and I was informed that the USPS obtained a signature of delivery.  When I did not receive a refund from Silver Best Buy Jewelry I e-mailed them about my refund and to advise them that I was informed by the USPS that they received the package. [continued below]....
.....  I did not receive a response to my e-mail or a refund.  Subsequently, I e-mailed Silver Best Buy Jewelry three to four more times with no response.   Basically, this website is a scam, they do not adhere to any of their policies and their jewelry is cheap to say the least!   Before you fall in to the trap of their pretty website and nice pictures please note that this is all a sham and you will not receive what you see in the photographs or what you pay for and you will not receive any refund and/or credit if you wish to return the item. Basically, you spend your time and money and come out with zero!

AUTHOR: Kay - (U.S.A.)

If Silver Best Buy Jewelry had any dignity and respect for its business they would arbitrate and/or mediate this matter with me.

Silver Best Buy Jewelry is full of BS

AUTHOR: Kay - (U.S.A.)

Kimberly, I was glad to see that you actually had the audacity to respond to this report albeit you failed to respond to any of my last e-mails concerning receipt of the item.   Also, you obviously don't pay attention to detail in that you reference me as a "he" when I am in fact a "she". (Hence the name "Kay" is a female name, not a male name.)  While that is irrelevant, the point is that the USPS informed me that they in fact delivered the item to you and obtained a signature from one of your representatives.  See USPS email regarding this below:

Dear KAY,
We are pleased to inform you that your reported Incident has been resolved.
Reference No.: INC000001997360
Summary: International CLaims

Your reported Incident has been resolved with the following resolution:
Correspondence Details Case #: DE1460484 (UPU - 2855)

Description: - FA Delivered
Sent by: PSACNR
Date sent: 05/02/2011

Letter: Dear Customer:
We have completed our review of the postal international insurance claim for the article referenced above.Our records indicate this package was delivered as addressed. International Claim Processing

In addition to this, I did provide you with the tracking number for the package.  I also graciously advised you that I would be filing a claim against your business on ripoffreport.com and informed you of the date that I would be doing this.  Basically, it comes down to the FACT that your company sells junk, ignores e-mails and/or inquiries and doesn't offer any refunds/credits, etc.-PERIOD!  The proper way to handle/resolve this matter would be to refund me some if not all of what I spent on the item purchased from your business!!!

P.S. I appreciate author mr rik - miami (USA), comment about Silver Best Buy Jewelry's ignorance of my e-mails.  Thanks

Thousand of Happy Customers! Quality Guaranteed!

AUTHOR: JamestheSteven - (United States of America)

Our terms and conditions was clear and he asked us before he made his purchase, if he can return the item, if he doesnt like it.

We told him to read our terms and conditions.

He purchased and and after nearly 20 days he asked for a refund, we told him that we can give refund if he sends the item back to us with a reliable company that we can track the package.

He failed to do so. We did not receive anything and he claims that we have the item back.

On his last email:

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
When I shipped the item back to you I insured it so that I would not incur a loss if the item was lost during transport.  Due to the fact that you did not receive the item I filed an insurance claim w/t the U.S. Postal Service.  Recently, the U.S. Postal Service advised me that they were able to deliver the item back to you and obtained a signature from one of your representatives at your facility.  However, they have not provided me with proof of this information at this time.  Therefore, if you did not receive the package back, please confirm this by responding to this e-mail indicating you did not receive the package back.  I have been spending a great deal of time and resources on this issue and would like to resolve it quickly if possible.

Thank you very much for your professional courtesies in this matter.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

We told him we did not receive it and also emailed him, what he wanted to hear. if he had only a tracking number we could have tracked the package and see who actually signed for the package.
