My mother was hit by this company in January of 2005. They charged the $299 to her account and she did dispute it through her bank, TD Banknorth, and luckily was reimbursed her money. TD Banknorth put a stop payment on this company against future transactions at that time. NOW, she was charged again by the same company on August 22, 2005, without ever going back to the site, filling anything out or receiving any contact at all from this company.
She has gone back to TD Banknorth, filled out forms to dispute this transaction, and TD Banknorth informed her it could take up to 10 days to resolve this. VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE: a stop payment issued by TD Banknorth, is apparently only good for 6 months.
Just a suggestion, if this happens to you, close your bank account and open a new one, because this company retains your information and WILL hit you again!! They actually printed a check with the routing and account numbers and cashed it through Integrated Check Technologies out of Cleveland OH.

All stop payments are valid for six months. It has nothing to do with TD BankNorth, it is the law. So, if you have a stop placed for this type of thing, be sure you keep track and renew it as needed.
