Sir Nigel Goldman Genius Trader Spain Internet

I followed Nigel Goldman while he traded the Beat the Broker competition on REM Radio (now Talk Radio Europe) in Spain. This was a competition that was entered by over 730 traders, and basically a London trading platform called CCC gave the traders $100,000 to whirl around the futures markets for 6 weeks. The winner received, I believe, a prize of 10,000 Pounds.

Nigel Goldman called the market spot on at the time, and as I recall this was the start of all the volatility in the oil and precious metal markets.

He turned his $100,000 into $2.7 million, and won the contest. I and some friends then opened an account on a spread betting platform in London, and gave Nigel Goldman the password to trade the account. He quadrupled our money within a year. All of the profits from this were tax free, as spread betting profits are considered by the UK Government to be gambling. We checked all this out with lawyers, and this was confirmed to us, as was the legality of Mr Goldman placing the trades on our behalf.
