Buyer Beware - We went on a Groupon at the Sleepy Sheep Ranch for a Cattle Herding Experience... We ended up doing a 3 hour trail ride instead, but as we had a good time we left a 5 star rating on the Groupon Website, but whilst we were getting ready to leave David the owner approached our group and asked us if we would be interested in a 20 Hour overnight ride & camp out for $250, which we said yes.. He wanted cash upfront but I told him we only had a Debit or Credit card, so he fired up PayPal on his Laptop PC and we paid him $250, this event was promised to be within 3 weeks, so we agreed to it, after 4 weeks we had not heard anything so my wife contacted David via Facebook he said that others were delaying things but it will be in a few days, now after 6 weeks we are no longer able to do it as all our weekends are used up with Family, friends & Vacation. So my wife sends an email to David asking for a refund as too much time has now elapsed and we can no longer do it, he did not respond, She tried again to email him, still no response, Tried calling and leaving a message, still no response, So she tried Facebook and he still did not respond, She left a message on his Facebook wall but it was deleted within minutes of posting. Then I took over and emailed David,
asking him to either Refund us immediately or I will take some action against him, still no answer. So I gave him one last email warning telling him he has until midday Monday 23rd July to refund us otherwise I will tell everyone on
reviews and social networking websites about his non-communication when he owes clients money... Still no reply.
So I am leaving this message to let you all know of our story, and after doing some Google research and looking on the
ripoffreport website I am not the only one who has found out what a piece of work he is, just Google Sleepy Sheep Ranch or the previous name Trugon Ranch, why he changed it is in some of the on-line complaints. So I will leave you to
read those and decide if you take their opinion on-board about David and his company... My wife and I will never go again and we have told lots of people of our issue and they have also been put off going... Please do not pay up front
for any service, I doubt if you will get what you want if you do and you will never get a refund!! PS, Whilst we were there a horse was a bit lively and he punched it very hard with his fist, now I am no horse person, but I am sure
your not supposed to treat horses in such a rough way!! I have had to start a dispute with PayPal and also go to my bank and get them to reverse the transaction... Thank god we paid by card...
