Smart Style - Regis Corporation smart style a bogus company they came to my house and fired me on my day off Bloomington Illinois

I was hired by smart style 02-11-2007 and fired 05-10-2007 1 day from from my 90 day probation. The reasons they gave me were bogus but thats not the bad part. the bad part is that they sent the store manager and a co-worker to my house on my day off to fire me. have you ever heard of such unprofessional behavior. needless to say i was shocked and i wouldnt sign the notice.

one of the reasons was i went into over time and caused the company to loose money, another reason was my technical skills, i never had 1 person come back to complain about a service that i had performed but all of a sudden when i asked the manager why was i being fired for that she claimed one of my clients went to another smart style and had another stylist re-do her hair but no one ever mentioned this to me. like i said i understand that there are some evil do-dirty people in this world who have unprofessional behavior and ok go ahead fire me for what ever reason you feel you need to but you just dont do it in the nasty way that they did it in and 1 day before my 90 day probation. ive never received a verbal or written warning about my work always at work with a smile on time never ever once called off in 89 days. im emotionally distraut over this situation. i feel discriminated against especially since the manager told me they were firing another girl too but she didnt go to her house to fire her. im african american and the other girl is white. i really liked my job and just when i was feeling good about myself this happens.I suffer from depression and biopolar and this has made me feel awful. i will be seeking legal advice, i will report them to walmart corporation because it reflects on them as well, especially since most people think that walmart owns smart style. they dont its a regis corporation
