I had done a considerable amount of research on this product before ordering.  Once I found the company SmartTint that had this product (the only US based company that I could find that carried it) I let them know the application in which it would be used.  

They told me which product that I would need, knowing that I didn't need it for 3 months they told me it was something that they always kept in stock and I could just order it when I was ready and it would be shipped out within 5 business days.  It was going to be for a new construction project.  

When I was ready for the product and I called to order they told me it would be 6 weeks for delivery.  I reminded them of our coversation and all the information that they had gotten from me. After they called me a liar, then seeing their own emails they quickly back tracked and tried to make things right and reassured me that they would have the product out with in the week.  After two weeks I had not recieved the product so after contacting the company they told me the product was never ordered.  I produced the charge that had been placed on my credit card two weeks earlier and they quickly tried to make things right again.

At that point they sent me the wrong product insisting it was right.  They let me know that they were the experts and I knew nothing about their product. I had it installed by liscensed electritians. It not only didnt work, but it was the wrong product.  I followed step by step their intructions and had a licensed electrition install to their specs and I was told by them that it was my fault.  After presenting them with all of the documentation from the beginning they agreed to replace it for the original agreed upon product, that would then take six weeks to get.  

Upon getting in the new product 7 weeks later and unpackaging it it was damaged and appeared to be used. We went ahead and installed the product once again exactly to their specs. 48 hrs after instalation the product quit working. After having the electritians come out to inspect it they found that the product had shorted out due to faulty contacts to the product itself which is a manufacturer defect. This was the same problem that happened with the first product. After contacting the company they have let me know that I broke the warranty by not following their exact direction. They told me that they will do nothing else at this point and it is my problem. 

I have been in business for over 20 years and have worked with hundreds of different companies and vendors and have never worked with a more dishonest, unethical company than SmarTint. From the beginning every issue or problem was always my fault and they were sure to let me know that. Each time I was able to prove my stance and they never apologized for their mistakes.  They curse at you and are proud of their arrogance and disrespect especially toward females.

Please do not make the same mistake I did by doing business with this company. Do NOT do business with this company.
