BETTER READ THIS BEFORE DEALING WITH THESE CROOKS.
It all started when I looked at an on-line ad about the new e-cigarette. Sorry to say, I picked the wrong Internet Ad. The order went through, and I had to go to my Post Office and sign for receipt of the parcel. It was shipped from Great Britain. So I received my e-cigarette from SmartSmokerUSA.com. That was OK and everything was fine.
A couple of weeks later I checked my credit card statement on-line and I found a second charge for almost the same amount of the original purchase price. I was wondering what the heck is this? I just paid you the eighty or so bucks.
So I called the number on the e-cig box, 1-866-700-8565 and spoke with someone who said "We sent you an e-mail and since you didnt respond we automatically enrolled you in our "Smart Plan." Well OK thats not what I want. Im not even sure I like the Tabak that I got and I want to cancel. The phone rep went on to say, "what you have to do is send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and they will send you a reply in a couple of days.
I never received a response to any of my e-mails. I called my credit card company to post a dispute. Thankfully my credit card company credited my account stating the affair wasnt finished and I could still be charged in the future.
About a week later I received a notice from the Post Office saying that I had another parcel from "Royal Mail." They sent me their Smart Plan refills even though I called twice and sent various e-mails and my credit card had already been credited. Everyday I get an e-mail from SmartSmokerUSA.com reminding that there is a parcel awaiting me and I need to pick it up.
In the mean time while still getting the everyday e-mail reminders I get an e-mail telling me: Your card will be charged for $59.99 + $14.99 S&H and we will auto ship your order. Please note that you can amend you Smart Plan order online by visiting http://www.smartsmokerusa.com and clicking on 'Smart Plan'. If you would like to amend your order please contact our Customer Service centre within the next 72 hours by email (email@example.com) so that we can alter your order before we send it out! If we don't hear from you then we will presume you are happy with your order and go ahead and process your Smart Plan.
I did exactly that and I have not heard anything back yet, and according to their customer service the only way you can contact them is via e-mail.
I called my credit card company and told them I lost my credit card, they will be issuing me a new card with a new number. Now I can sleep without fear of being RIPPED OFF AGAIN.
Beware, this is not an honest company, avoid them.
