The company uses search engine and data mining tactics to target customers searching for low fare travel. The pricing they use is very attractive and they collect sensitive customer information such as address and credit card information.
At the time of booking, you receive a nice reservation confirmation number and everything looks legitimate. However, the reservations are not finalized so unsuspecting consumers will be surprised to learn that their reservations are not valid.
Anybody can create a website and post lovely pictures and testimonials. However, consumers must be cautious of firms such as Smartfare before tendering confidential information or hard earned dollars.
