Solavei does not sell phones direct to the public or offer free phones. They are a MLM business and use T Mobile's network.
The phone service is $49.00 and you have to buy a SIM card for $9.00. Then the service is $49.00 per month. If you sign up three people, you get a $20.00 discount per month, and there are several ways to get service free and make money. I would be happy to help you but I can't.
Solavei has 175,000 members to date and many of those operate retail locations across the country.
I am a distributor (NOT in your state), only offer new phones to my down line, and no one has ever had the problems you describe.
The complaint is with your distributor so you should file a Ripoff report about the distributor so others don't have the problems you experienced.

So, if everything works good, this is a grate oportunity. I hope more customers comment their experiences.
