Solow Solutions credit card scam, ripoff Champlain New York

On December 5th 2005, Solow Solutions contacted me via phone and told me I was eligable for a $7500 credit card. Solow said they were going to help me rebuild my credit. They said the price was $299.00 for their services. On the 5th, Solow debited my Federal Credit Union Account $299.00. They said my card would arrive within three weeks.

After three weeks, I began to call the customer service center. Initally, they said I would receive my card within two more weeks. When I did not receive my card by February, I called and they said I should receive it within three months. I did not. I continually called and was continually told it was "in the mail." On three separate occasions I was told that the card would be sent to my home on the next shipping date (apparently there are two times a month in which the cards are sent out).

During the first week of April, I finally spoke with Jake Peters, the manager of the customer service center and was assured by him that the money would be returned to my account. He applogized for the incomplete service. He said it could take up to 14 days. The money was not returned.

For the past several weeks, when I attempt to call the center at 1-866-676-5760, I get a message that says the center is closed and to call back during regular business hours. I am calling during regular business hours. The service is apparently no longer in use.

On May 2, 2006, I requested Solow to return the monies which were taken from my account in a certified letter to the address you have on file. The letter was indeed signed for on May 10th. I have not had any response.

My bank said it is over 60 days. The police say I have to go to the station to file a report as they cannot take this type of report over the phone. I can find no web site for Solow solutions or telephone number that works.

I was blantantly robbed by this company.
