This contest is a total sham. Bryan Bryant lives in Spring, Tx and makes people believe that his phony and fake "Song of The Year" contest is legitimate, when in reality it's a money making scam that preys off of hopeful songwriters. VH1 has contacted him before and asked for him to remove their name from his website. In the meantime, he poses under his "adopted" name of Christian Alday, and has multiple other phony contests that he also uses to generate more money. Anyone can go to the Harris County DBA registry and see all of the fake businesses and scam websites that he has created, and registered as "businesses". He frequently posts under fakes names defending his scam sites on other webistes, trying to make his website look legitimate.
