Sonia Valverde Droet Chopra Instructor- Samai Yoga Horrible yoga retreat fraud/ horrible retreat conditions/lack of customer service a rip off, Internet

 As I signed a release form at the time of registration of this yoga retreat in Ayampe, Ecuador, this company under the name of Sonnia Valverde/Samai Yoga Club  is an independent contractor using all the support of the Deepak Chopra Center.  I have no doubts that she completed her certifications, but one thing is passing a certification and another using Chopra's name to get money without any ethical principles and good service. My friends and I,  gave her our suggestions which make things even worse and three uncomfortable consecutive days.  We trusted the reputation and support of the Chopra Center, unfortunately, we encountered a teacher with serious attitude problems, lack of customer service, motivational skills and extremely business mind oriented where everything was about money.

We attended a retreat in the worst conditions ever, they put us in a private beach house in instead of a hotel as we paid, we shared one queen bed for three people, no sheets, no pillows, full of dust, mosquitoes, terrible heat, no ventilation, no internet access neither cell phone signal and only one key to enter the house which make things unsafe and uncomfortable. We were forced to exercise yoga without any explanation or warming up, we participated in a reiki circle mixed with yoga that did not make any sense, the food was terrible and unhealthy and if we say something we received a defensive attitude from Sonia. 

Unprofessional messages came across the blackberry what' s up application such as: food is ready if you dont  come, forget to eat!. or in the Facebook where she deleted my response to her comments like I am a poor soul that needs attention just because I expressed my frustrated experience. We were treated as kids to give explanation of everything what we did in our spare time and to make it worse, when we asked for a extra key this is textually what the answer was: "what do you need the key for?, There is only one person responsible for that key and you look for her or someone who knows her to get that key, you came to participate in a retreat, go make friends, break the ice, you are not getting an extra key" The situation was really bad after we shared our concerns. They ignore us completely. 

It is sad that Sonia Valverde take advantage of Deepak Chopra's name just because they passed a certification to make money. my questions to the Deepak Chopra center was: How do you work and monitor these contractors and yoga instructors they hire overseas using his name? how you make sure they keep the same Chopra Center reputation and principles? How we share our concerns from other countries? What kind of liability these contactors have in case of an injury? What requirements besides of a certification they have in order to run a Chopra Center overseas?   This was a stressful experience where the Deepak Chopra seven principles of Yoga were misused and where his reputation to certificate this kind of people is still in question.
