I purchased front speakers for my Sons truck 12/9/11. Then found out I was also meant to buy the rear speakers as well,and had to place another order the following Monday 12/12/11, in order to receive the speakers before Christmas I chose Priority Mail for both shipments. When I checked my email later that day, I noticed I had an email from Sonic Electronics that was sent 12/12/11 @ 7:30 am. It was notifying me that my order had been shipped, and the link to track my order... unfortunatly when I followed the link to USPS..this is the Message I received "There is no record of this item"....huh! So why was I given a false tracking#?  Almost the same situation with the second package except... this time the USPS message was "The US Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper December 14, 2011 to expect your package for mailing" Wow two days after I make the order..., and guess what as of today 12/15/11, the messages have not changed. So when exactly do you plan to mail it?? Christmas is Next weekend.  Oh but I checked with the bank looks like you had no problems getting paid.  It is my understanding that when i made the purchases both Items were "In Stock".. Priority Mail is 2-3 business day shipping. I should have received both orders as of this date. But as of now I'm concerned that I might not get them at all.  Also, and probably the most frustrating, given the circumstances...these people do not answer the phone. It is infuriating!!!!! the phone will ring, pick up, give you options as to whom you need to speak, then you get to listen to music....for as long as you have the patience to hold...cause apparently NO ONE is home! My Advise don't waste your time or your minutes trying to contact these people go straight to the BBB,and next timePurchase your Electronic needs else where.  I have reported this so called "Business" to the BBB and was informed upon inquiring..This "Business is actually legit..go figure. At least there's that. Also they have an A+ standing even though they have had a whopping 57 complaints. Mind Boggling!

We appreciate your business and apologize for the frustration you've experienced. Although please allow us to elaborate on this issue.


We don't have specific reference to your transaction but we'd like to address your concern. Your first order was placed on 12/09 as stated in your response. Orders take 24 hours to process once each request is received; that said, since your transaction was placed on a Friday, your merchandise shouldn't have shipped until that following Monday, 12/12. When you received tracking confirmation, that's when your merchandise left our facility. We understand your worry when the tracking number never showed any scans, as on your end, it appeared nothing was ever shipped. However, upon contacting USPS' Consumer Industry Affairs Department (telephone #661-775-6681) in relation to this situation, they've advised that none of their shipments are being scanned, as to allow on-time deliveries during this busy holiday season. For both Priority and Parcel services, this lack of scan is taking place; however, need not worry, as your packages were shipped and are currently in-transit.


These above facts also apply to your second shipment. Although, that package should have been sent on Tuesday with our 24 hour processing delay. USPS specifies their Priority Mail service takes roughly 2-5 business days for delivery, so these shipments should arrive soon, if they're not already in your possession.


Our Customer Commitment Team is available seven days a week by phone and email. Due to the high influx of orders we've received lately, our telephone support delay has been longer than usual. However, we're on the other line ready to assist if your patient enough to wait. Although, if you'd prefer to avoid our hold times, we're available via email at [email protected] We answer those responses within 24-48 hours.


Every business receives complaints: it's how those situations are addressed that measures the true quality of a service. We've received 57 complaints on the BBB: however, we've responded to every consumers concerns to their satisfaction, or with reasonable effort to earn our A+ rating. We not only maintain that perfect score, but also have high ratings on PriceGrabber, Reseller Ratings, and are a member of Bizrate's Circle of Excellence.


We're certainly sensitive to this situation, although you didn't permit us with an opportunity to explain the circumstances. We hope this reconciles your questions and concerns.
