On all of our JL Audio items, we advertise our "1-year SonicElectronix.com warranty," as JL Audio's warranty doesn't apply: we don't buy from them directly. We choose not to be authorized with JL to avoid being required to sell their items at MAP pricing. We prefer to sell their items at the lowest possible price, as our business is operated on the principle of consumer value.

We offer additional extended warranties that provide more comprehensive and longer coverage than the manufacturer's warranty, which can be added on to most JL products for significantly less than the same product would cost on it's own from an "authorized dealer." Although it's not directly from JL, all of our products are closed box, brand-new merchandise that comes from authorized distributors. Unfortunately, your purchase was made back on 01/10, which is a year beyond the "1-year SonicElectronix.com warranty" we offered and advertised on the listing you purchased from us.
