In searching this site, I see that you mentioned two names I am familiar with, (Identity Ease & ID Sentinel Alert). I may be able to help you withyour concerns.
I am an employee with, Cbsi (Consumer Benefit Services, Inc.) located at 1620 Bond Street | Naperville, IL 60563 | (630) 420.6200
Identity Ease & ID Sentinel Alert are the names of two separate Membership Programs. Both programs offer solutions in protecting your identity and providing services to help restore your identity, if you ever become a victim of Identity Theft.
Cbsi, provides members that have been registered with us by third party marketers access to the benefits of these programs. However, we are NOT the companythat offered the program to you and have notbilled you for access to any program.
Each Member that is registered with us is mailed a Membership Packet which includes: a Membership Card, a Program Booklet, & an Insert explaining the (Third-Partys) Billing Procedure.
On thebilling Insert, is the toll-free (800) number to the (Third-Partys) Billing/Cancellation Customer Service Center. The customer service agent answering this phone number should be able to help you with the cancelation process.
If you experience any issues please do not hesitate to call the toll free number listed on the frontof the Membership Card for assistance.
I hope the information I have provided is sufficient to mediate your concerns.
Sincerely,
Edwin V.

I just want to know if the person who filed this complaint ever received their package, and if ther really is a $1000.00 shopping spree?
I received the same call from the same # (866-537-4728)on 12/21/10 but my call was from Jim # 2018. I declined the other offers and was only charged $8.93, but I have to say I didn't feel really good about the whole thing. I was trying to search the company while I still had them on the phone, but this Rip-off report came up later. I just hope the shopping spree is worth something.
Please update the original report and let me know what has happened since this post.
