South Hills Movers is the worst Pittsburgh moving company! They only have one office and it is in Bethel Park. They want you to think they are in Cranberry, they they aren't! Another lie. The salesman at South Hills Movers looked right at us and lied to our faces. He assured us that our treasures would be well taken care of and that they will be delivered safely to us in Florida. He told us that the same truck and movers who came to pick our stuff up would be the same truck and movers to deliver our items within 5 days. That was a bunch of bunk! The movers arrived 3 hours late to pick up our stuff, were so unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I called our sales rep and he assured me everything would be ok. When our stuff finally arrived in Florida - 10 DAYS LATE and 20% BROKEN, DESTROYED OR LOST- it was a different truck and a different driver. And, the "movers" were temporary employees they contracted with - not employees as they promised. I did purchase an additional $20,000 insurance policy thinking that the first $20,000 in damages would be covered. When I called the office, they told me that the items destroyed in the boxes are not covered due to PBO. When I asked what PBO was, he said Packed By Owner and nothing I packed in boxes would be covered. What a bunch of baloney! We then moved onto the furniture and my entertainment center arrived in pieces. I was told that "pressed wood" is not covered. When I asked why the heck I bought the extra insurance he said "I don't know." Deceptive at best! Beware......
