Southeastern Delivery MPB Today Never delivered groceries and never refunded my money Pensacola, Florida
I waited 2-3 weeks for my order to be delivered and then sent an email asking for the status. and was advised it had been delayed as there had been an issue with the ordering system. I tried to get a more specific time frame of when to expect my order and they would not give one. They had indicated they had been three months behind and orders were going out every day and were now only about 6 weeks behind and assured me my order was in the system and my groceries would eventually get delivered.
After waiting for another month I tried to check the status again. This time it took many attempts through email and phone calls to get a response. Again I was told basically the same thing as before. I waited another few weeks and this time sent an email demanding a specific date that my order would be shipped and if a response was not received I would file complaints with any governmental agency that I could.
My deadline passed without ever a response to my email. So I made several more calls and this time they didn't even try to be nice or polite. They gave me the same generic answer as before. When I mentioned that my emails were not being responded to, I was assured my email had been received and had been forwarded to the appropriate person. I asked to speak to someone higher up and was told my information would be given to their manager and to expect a call back within the next few business days.
I never received any phone call or email from anyone so I started filing my complaints. I filed a complaint with the FTC, BBB, and the Attorney General for Florida.
The FTC indicated when filling out the form that no individual action would be taken. The BBB made several attempts to notify the company and after allowing more than enough time had to close out the complaint due to lack of response. The Attorney General's Office also informed me that they had to close out my complaint due to no response from the business and suggested seeking legal advice or to take the company to small claims court.
The phone numbers and websites are currently not working. So now after 8 months I am 100% certain that this was a scam and I was swindled as it does not appear that there is any chance of receiving my order.
While I am disappointed that I won't receive my groceries I ordered or get back my $200 I paid I am happy to know that they are not currently ripping off anyone else. The sad thing is that I'm sure the same group of people will be back with some new scam under a different name conning people into believing they have an opportunity to make easy money with almost no risk.
