I was with OPremium for 3 years before Sparkletts bought them out. I had a contract with OPremium for unlimited water for $37/month. Sparkletts recently breached that contract by having the delivery guy leave only 10 bottles, even when I put out 12 to be replaced. I managed to stop him before he left and told him, and he said I had a plan that limited me to 10 bottles and that I should call customer service. I did, and they said my plan had been changed by the company. I talked to a manager who agreed to give me my same pricing plan for 12 bottles -- not what I had (nor what my original contract said) but better than 10 bottles. He also said that I was now on a month-to-month service so I could cancel anytime.
Ha, what a scam. A week later I was charged $62.02. I called and complained about the billing error, and I was fed some story that I was double billed for the early deliver before the Labor Day holiday. It was a mistake that would be taken care of. Well, Sparkletts took care of it by charging an additional $37 two days later without crediting back the $62.02, which the manager assured me would be credited back. So I called again, and he said that what the company did instead was credit my Sparkletts account the amount so I was paid ahead. Hmm, like, oh I don't know, a contract. I didn't agree to pay ahead for advance service, so I said I want my money back! He said he had to check into getting that credited back and would call me back. He of course didn't, and I called again. When he got back to me again, he said that the company wasn't able to credit money back into a checking account. I said, "You can take money back, you can sure as hell put money back in." He said he was trying to get word from the billing department on how to have a check mailed to me and that he would call me back when that happened.
A week later, of course, he hasn't called me and no money has been returned. I've filed a complaint with the BBB, but I know this company is just dragging its feet long enough to have the time go by that they could say the $62.02 has been applied to services. I am more than frustrated about this jerking around they are pulling... and the worst part, I am pregnant, due any day, and we don't have an extra 60 bucks lying around to donate to some corrupt company for advance service that we didn't authorize. It's evil what they are pulling!
