Special Data Processing ex employee speaks out about ignorance of management Clearwater Florida

VICKY STIDL is a heartless beast. I got very very sick for 3 months and was hospitalized a few times with pneumonia. She had the brass balls to call me when i could barely breathe and threaten me with being fired if i didn't show up for work the following week. I hauled my ass in there with my nebulizer and was made to feel extremely inadaquet for having to use it. The supervisor of my team really took the cake and was the ultimate reason for me deciding to quit and find a better more worth while job. True story..i was in the "GO" department also known as GREAT OPTIONS and i was to sell these discount cards for home depot and restaurants etc. for 30 or 40 bucks a month and i had a caller who told me he was dying of cancer and didn't want to leave his family with any unnecessary bills. So i let him go and didn't push the rebuttals. My supervisor ranks me off the phones and tells me that i went about the call all wrong and i could've told him that having the discount cards after he died would've made life easier on his wife in the long run because she could still go out to eat at a cheaper price! After years of feeling dirty for working there and not being able to sleep i QUIT and i do not regret leaving that place AT ALL!

i too worked at SDP for a total of 3 years and what everyone is saying about the way employees are treated is absolutely true. I got my pay docked for going to the bathroom, for asking a manager a question and for other stupid reasons because they have their system set up so that you must select the clock out option in order to stop recieving incoming calls. so if you worked for 8 hours and took 5 ten minute pee breaks you just lost an hours pay on top of your break time as well. STUPID! The managers are always putting undue stress on employees about the room average as far as sales are concerned and where you measure up and then they threaten to fire you or put you on probation until you start getting more sales or "weebahs" as they call them.
