I had been looking for an (at home job) and they got my name on line with my phone #.
They tried to convince me that I would only be charged $24.95 the first month and then $29.95 every month afterward for the next 11 months! They lied to me about that because the second month they charged me $39.95 and I was suppost to pay that amount for the next 11 months.
I told them that I did not want a web page with them but they ignored me and shortly after that I had a web page ready and it will cost me $29.95 each month for 12 months for the maintenance program. That was a lie; it was $39.95 when I cancelled it against their
wishes.
Because they lied to me, I said that I was going to cancel the whole program and send the
books and paper work to them. They said that I could not cancel the membership out
because I was one or two days over the contract which I did not sign or agree to.
They fed me a lot of lies and so they say that I am required to pay for the next 10 months
$39.95. It is not right that I should have to do that when I and my husband are only on Social Security . I believe that is FRAUD.
