I received a letter in today's mail and was immediately suspicious because it contained what looks like a legitimate check in the amount of $3986.19. It is dated and signed with my name and address on it. The check is drawn on Frost National Bank, Dallas, TX with a business name of Goetz Fibers, L.P., 11311 N Central Expressway, Ste 301, Dallas, TX 75243. The accompanying letter is as follows:

After reading over the letter and comparing the name on the check with the name of the company, i became suspicious as to how this could be. I googled the company name and came up with a similar letter on your website. I made the mistake of calling the 866 number and leaving my home phone number. I'm not sure that this will be the end of this for me. I've been getting loads of similar offers in my e-mail everyday so i think someone found my real address through that. Anyway, I hope this helps someone else from getting ripped off by a scammer.
