Purchased product for weed control labeled Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns for St. Augustine and Centipede Grass. The product killed the weeds and the grass. The product was used as directed. It said just hook container to garden hose and spray area of weeds. A surface area of approximated 1100 sq. feet was sprayed. Used less than half of bottle and threw away the remainder of the container in trash because felt unsafe to keep chemicals in storage after opened. The cost of replacement of grass to areas of damage was $1100.00. Filed a claim with company which included a copy of receipt of purchase, date of when it was applied,
temperature of weather when applied and multiple pictures of damaged areas. The company stated they could not accept liabilty of damage because I had thrown away the container and they could not test the product that was used. This is very lame excuse because the product was purchased from Lowe's and they could have researched from the lot number on the
the receipt. They could have tested from the lot. They stated they were "Sorry for the inconvenince it might have caused me". To me that was admitting their product failed.
