WE WENT TO BRANSON, MO AFTER I RECIEVING A CALL OFFERING 5 SHOW TICKETS, 30 MEAL VOUCER, COUPON BOOK, ETC.IF I WAS PART OF A PRESENTATION TO SELL YOU TIMESHARE. PHONE LADY REPEATEDLY MENTIONED THAT THEY WILL TRY TO IMPRESS YOU TO GET YOUR BUSINESS.

I ARRIVED AND WENT TO THE WELCOME CENTER AND ONE CLERK CHECKED ME IN WHILE ANOTHER WAS SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO HER EATING A BIG OLD CHOCOLATE SUNDAY WITH ICE CREAM DRIPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE. VERY PROFFESIONAL!!!THEN THEY DIRECTED ME TO THE MOTEL I WAS GOING TO STAY IN. IT WAS THE CHEAPEST 1 STAR MOTEL EVER. CLASSIC MOTOR INN MOTEL...

I WAS TOLD THAT THE NEXT THEY I COULD GO TO GET MY TICKETS AND OTHER ITEMS BUT WHEN I WENT TO GET THEM THEY SAY "NO" UNTIL I WATCH THE PRESENTATION.

NEXT THEY I WENT TO PRESENTATION, SALE PERSON WAS A PHONY AS EVER USING ALL HER SALES TECNIQUES TO WARM UP TO YOU. SHE EVEN HAD A PICTURES OF HER DAUGHTER IN HER SALES INFO TO SHOW PEOPLE. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTH, THE CLOSER CAME BY TO WARM UP TO US KNOWING HE WILL BE COMMING BACK AT THE END TO TRY TO CLOSE THE DEAL. WE WHERE TOLD WE WON'T BE PRESSURE TO BUY ANYTHING, BUT THAT WAS UNTRUE. SALES LADY EVEN LOOK UPSET WHEN WE REPEATEDLY TOLD HER NO....ALSO, THEY WILL SAY THE PRICE OF THE TIME SHARE IS 30K AND IF YOU SAY NO, MINUTES LATER THEY WILL SAY THEY JUST GOT NEWS THAT A CONDO IS AVAILABLE FOR 7500.

WE FINNALLY LEFT THE PRESENTATION AFTER WAY LONGER THAN THE 90 MINUTES PROMISE AND THE SHOW TICKETS PROMISE WHERE FOR A LIST OF 5 SHOWS NOT PLAYING ON SUNDAY OR MONDAY. IT WAS SUNDAY AND WE WHERE LIVING TUESDAY MORNING. THE $30 MEAL VOUCHER FOR A LOCAL RESTAURANT HAD A "MANDATORY" 15% GRATUITY I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT. EVEN IF THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, YOU PAY 15%. I NEVER SAW ANY FREE SHOWS AS PROMISE OR GOT THE COUPON BOOK.

IF THEY CALL YOU, HANG UP!!!!!!!!!THIS PEOPLE ARE AS SLEAZY PROFESSIONAL THIEVES....JUST IMAGING ALL THE PROBLEMS YOU WILL HAVE IF YOU BUY THE TIMESHARE IF THEY RUN THIS TYPE OF DECEPTIVE BUSINESS...

Spinnaker on verge of Bankruptcy! Will lie to get you there!

I worked for this company for 3 years. When it was French Quarter, it was fine. Now the son (FQ owner) merged with the dad (Spinnaker) and all is going down hill again. I just want to warn everyone that Spinnaker/Regency is on the verge of bankruptcy, they have lost contracts with almost all of the shows in town due to non-payment, half of their staff was laid off this week, and you probably will NOT get what you were promised at the time of your original phone call.

As of one week ago, they only had 15 shows to pick from (the smaller 'no name' ones) and one restaurant. You will not have the choices that you were told, because they have lost those contracts. The hotels they use are only a 1star level, because they are the ones who need the business and give us a good nightly rate.

The reason I am posting this is because their employees are treated like CRAP, even after working so hard and taking so much verbal abuse trying to take up for the company's wrong doings.

I will say that when it comes to timeshare, you are ONLY obligated to 90 minutes. After that, you will still receive ALL (or in this case) some of your gifting (promised items). After 90 minutes, you CAN leave on your own free will, regarless, and there is nothing they can do about it.

And remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Please do some research on French Quarter/Spinnaker/Regency Resorts (its all the same) before accepting ANY offers over the phone. You will more than likely be sorry if you dont.
