I have found MANY reports on line (and even a You Tube video) about this companies deplorable business practices. This company functions under many names and at least two current websites. For me, this company is actually local and was brought on by two of our schools to handle our spirit wear needs. This company was chosen not only because they are local but because their children actually attend our school!

When NUMEROUS parent complaints poured in, an effort was made by the PTO to contact the owners who, mind you, we could just as easily bump into at a school function. All attempts at communication were completely ignored including a registered letter.

For me in particular, I placed an order for two shirts, on line, one Sunday evening. I kept receiving error messages so I emailed my order to the address listed on the Spiritwear website. I received an email Monday morning from someone  simply saying they got my message and would call me later for payment. Payment!? I just emailed you the full copy of my order WITH my CC#! I emailed daily for 5 days before a semi "nasty" email finally garnered a response. The response I got was shocking and simply said that I needed to email "elite greeks" because I had reached a different company who only occasionally fills orders for Spiritwear. WHAT!?

Why would the ONLY email on the Spiritwear website go to a separate company who is not authorized to respond? Why would it take them FIVE days to respond especially when my emails also included questions about making changes to my order? I emailed a SIXTH time, copying the Elite Greek email, and again received no response. After hearing that they had not responded to our PTO's frequent attempts at contact, I cancelled my credit card.

From what information I have found, these people have done this time and again under different business names. If they can so easily do this to their own child's school, in their OWN community, I can't imagine what they do to others.

I placed an order Wednesday February 26, 2014. And I still have not received it (March 9th). I have sent numerous emails with no response. Also the so called "chat function" is always offline. I got a shipment conformation email 4 days ago and the tracking information shows it hasn't even left yet. I live about a half hour away from St. Charles so I really don't think it takes more than 4 days to get to me via USPS. I was suppose to have this package by today for my boyfriends birthday. I definitely will not be ordering from this company ever again and will not recommend it to anyone.

I placed an order and it was NEVER FILLED. I emailed and called your company a dozen times and not ONE message received a response and I was forced to cancel my credit card. Do NOT blame our PTO for your failures. When someone has to send a registered letter to your personal residence in an effort to reach you, it is quite clear where the neglect is. I have spoken with other schools and groups, I know we're not alone in our experiences. 

There are companies who do far more business and have NO complaints filed with the BBB. People don't go through the lengthy process of filing with the BBB unless their grievances are substantial. There were 30 total complaints filed under "Elite Greeks" and 119 filed "Greek Clothing". Using different names doesn't hide your faults.  Seems a little scam-like though that schools and groups who have discontinued services with you still have their products listed on your website and available for order.

Yes we have some complaints with customers and lets take this into consideration.  We have mailed out over 162 thousand orders and we have six complaints. This means that over 99.99% of our customers have had a great experience with us and have continued to order over the years.  Heck you can look up any company and i bet you will find complaints also with a lower customer service rating but people still shop there because a vast majority of people have no issues.

We work with various other companies in providing them wholesale service including schools.  We currently are serving over 18 local schools with not one missing items a couple we wrong size but were replaced with in 3 days or less.

The school which had the issue had a PTO that was not responsive and had customers that came in angry to us which was not our fault but rather the PTO taking so long to even address the issues.  so once the customer had contacted us directly we had there clothing fix and back with them in a few days as long as the clothing was in stock.

As for the BBB we are working on all the complaints against us and were never notified there was ever an issue to began with and again we have multiple companies and people who order from us ac across the USA and other countries for our quality clothing.  We just signed to make clothing for 2 NBA teams so i am a little unsure how were such a difficult company to work with.  

Once again like with any of our other customers if you are having an issue please contact us and we will fix it as soon as possible.  Not doing so and simply re posting that we are the worst company out there and not trying to fix anything on your part really makes this posts validity not very strong as we are offering to fix any issues even if we loss money we always stand behind our products.

Six complaints filed with the BBB

This was not an issue of a missing order or tracking number confusion. My order was never filled, I was forced to cancel my credit card and many emails and phone calls went entirely ignored. Bear in mind this is not just me complaining about one order, this has been dozens of complaints from parents who all trusted this particular vendor for their school spirit wear. No issue was resolved, no communication was returned for any of the parents and this is completely unacceptable. One parent was forced to track these owners down in person to retrieve a time sensitive order for a school function. After filing this report I did reach out to other schools in the area who have used this particular vendor as well and was not shocked to find that our experience was in no way unique. Buyer beware: Elite Greeks and Spiritwear Wholesale are the same company. Even months after this vendor was basically "fired" as our vendor our school spirit wear still appears on their site. They have 6 complaints with the BBB along with an "F" rating and two additional complaints at a site similar to Ripoff Report. All I can hope is that other schools do their due diligence before hiring this company.

We are far from a rip you off company.  We have a chat system and email accounts for customers to contact us.  We fulfill ever customers order and ship via usps.  Sometimes items go missing in the mail and if the customer contacts us we will replace the order within 24 hours of reporting.

Some customers simply just file charge backs and such without even trying to contact the correct email addresses on the site.  Currently we have service over 162,000 customers world wide and have a better then 99.5% customer satisfaction rate where there are no issues of any kind.

Sometimes customers have issues with spam and report us as spam and therefore all emails go directly into a spam filter.  Some schools block usps from sending emails with tracking thus tracking emails are never received which is beyond out control.

People just automatically post things and even when the issues are resolved they do not go back and correct any of them with a follow up to their complaint.  So we are aware of the negative reports out there and are looking into all of them to ensure the customer is getting what they ordered and if it is lost we will give the customer a gift certificate for the cost of the clothing and still mail the original order without delay.  So simply we give them free clothing as well as there order.  No other company does this in the industry. 

We produce one of the highest quality custom clothing in the industry of custom manufacturing and will continue to work with our customers to maintain a quality and high standard of excellence they expect.
