Lucky my credit card expired, as I would of been charged for the 4 weeks after the 2 weeks from requesting to cancel. They ignored my attempts to email and call my account manager. after several email and phone call attempts I had to go through not 1 but 3 people to cancel the account each one of them promissing the world trying to keep me subscribed. The final manager tried to brush me off saying he is waiving the 4 weeks i owed (even though it wasn't managed or contacted in that time).
After explaining the above I guess he felt I was hard done by and offered a redo. I accepted only because i felt he wasn't going to refund me so id rather take something than nothing. first week the new manager was great discussing ideas/preparing. 2nd week followed up which was good of her. now nothing after a couple reply emails (3 weeks on).
They are not good account managers you end up having to manage them and pretty much hassle them to do the work. not worth the hassle.
the managers are either lazy, trained to ignore us or have no time for each customer. I would not recommend them. All these guys do is talk marketing bs on the phone without even thinking about the ROI. They got me at a moment of weakness because I did not understand the process, now looking back at it this experience I tend to only work with smaller businesses/freelancers where they actually care and get involved + follow up.
If I was to redo it all again id call google to help setup the google account or just pay for it to be setup then manage it yourself or outsource some overseas company. Its shame if the company was more switched on with actually wanting results for us, following up and properly managing the account & put themselves in our shoes eg ensuring ROI they would be a good to work with, sadly this isn't the case.
