When I first started I thought it was a pretty sweet job! But little did I know I was slowly being brain washed the the corporate world was SHIT and the B2B to sales was the way to make money. Also was promised of getting certain clients that never came through.
100% commissions is no way to make money. 12+ hour days...6 days a week. These things are know way to make a LIVING...especially straight out of college.
Lastly...for those or you that write reports and then wait for a rebuttal. I'll let you in on a little secret. The rebuttals are being written by the two admin's that work in the office. Jessica Graham is Doug's girlfriend...no PR rep.

When I first started I thought it was a pretty sweet job! Go door to door selling spa packages, restaurant deals, and etc. But little did I know I was slowly being brain washed that the corporate world was SHIT and that B2B to sales was the way to make money. Also we were promised of getting certain clients such as the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls, that never came through. Our pay was based of 100% commissions which in my opinion is no way to make money...especially when the economy is the way it is.
We also were forced to work 12+ hour a day...6 days a week. If by some chance someone had to miss work...you were looked at as if you didn't care about work. For example...I needed to go to the doctor and I was told by Doug...that I was weak, I needed to get my head out of my ass and stand up and be a leader. So needless to say I canceled my docotrs appointment, because I didn't want to be passed up for what was suppose to be an AWESOME opportunity.
While working for this somewhat of a company...I started to realize that I didn't fit the criteria of the company. I was lucky enough to make it to the second stage of the managers trainee program. I loved that I was a Leader...I got to go on client meetings, run campaigns, take interviews out along with the opportunity to build my own team. But something they didn't explain...when you hire people...YOU ARE PAYING FOR THEIR TRAINING. My earnings everyday were paying the people I would take out and train in the field. That is ridiculous. No wonder the managers had so much freaking money.
I didn't have it in me anymore to give up my entire life, family, friends, etc. I missed my life. Working 6 days a week 12 hrs a day became TEDIOUS. What this company asks of you is no way to make a living or live life.
