Sales person completely misrepresents this product. Little tablet is cute. Sales person is very friendly. But the product is not at all what they tell you it is. 

Its a complete waste of money. A punch card for loyal customers is much more effective and doesn't cost you $60 a month.

Companies return policy is flawed.

Customer Service is flawed.

run away from Spot On.. It's lose lose lose!

It is true... I am a real business owner in Dallas, TX and I signed up last year with Spoton.  The sales person completely lied to me to get me to sign up.  Surprise, Surprise, he was not employed with Spoton when I called a month later to see why what he promised wasn't true.  In fact, I don't believe they even have had a salesperson/rep for my area since I signed up last year..that should speak volumes about this company. I have never been able to get anyone at corporate to resolve my issue after months of calling and emailing.

The complainer is correct.  Spot on is awful, they mislead you on pricing and tell you you are getting one thing when you aren't.  They will sell you something for $70 bucks and then go to your neighbor and give them a year for free.  We even know a business they had to pay to get them to join.  This company is so desperate to stay alve they do and say anything to get a business to sign up.  I can provide several businesses that will back this up.

This report is obviously a hoax.  SpotOn has over 6,000 satisfied clients across the U.S., and over 2,000,000 indvidual users of the SpotOn program.  The tablet provided "free of charge" by SpotOn, is more than cute; it's the device used by business customers to record their visits and earn reward points.  

The $60 a month fee is a software license, which gives the merchant the ability to track every customer visit, capture email addresses, track customer activity, and send followup emails, Facebook posts, Tweets, and mobile phone messages to re-target their customers.  It's a brilliant piece of software.

As far as using punch cards to build customer loyalty, only an ignorant or uninformed person would think that they were less expensive or provided more value than the SpotOn program.  Punch cards cost money, they have to be replaced, people lose them, there are numerous documented cases of fraud and cheating, and they have no customer followup capability whatsoever.

This report is obviously a hoax, no doubt filed by a SpotOn competitor instead of smart, savvy business person.
