SpotacularBG has defrauded several breeders.  Recently she has taken almost $3000 from a German breeder for a pedigreed cat with breeding rights.  She has had the money for over a year, but she has never sent the cat.  She avoids emails and phone calls.  She keeps promising to send the cat, and then says she does not have the money to send the cat, and then asks for MORE money from the German breeder for shipping.  SpotacularBG breeder is unethical and will defraud you of your money.

Wanted to let everyone know that, thanks to the efforts of Holly B's mother, Cheryl, the cat has now finally arrived in Germany, approximately 22 months after the date the contract was signed.  We truly hope this situation will not happen to anyone else.

I am the above mentioned breeder from Germany... and this is my story.

I have a legally binding business contract signed by ( Spotacular Bengals, the Seller) on 5/28/2011 whereby she agrees to sell to me ( the Buyer) a male Bengal breeding cat.
 
I paid her by bank transfer a total of $2700 for a Bengal cat included shipping to Frankfurt Germany: $1,300 sent to TD Bank in Manahawkin, NJ, on 6/6/2011 and $1,400 to Bank of America, Manahawkin, NJ, on 7/29/2011

To this day, 1.5 years later, after countless promises from her, I am not in receipt of my cat.

She promised to send me a cat many, many times (see her original Emails below) but has given me nothing but excuses for not sending a cat.

I have been patient and have given her many opportunities to fulfill her part of the contract.

She had the option to send me my money back but has not done so either, claiming that she
doesn't have any money.

She wants to make me responsible if other people write something about her - another excuse
for not sending me my cat.

Fact is that she has a contract with me and she is in Breach of Contract.

It is now December 2012 and the breeder of Spotacular Bengals has not sent me the promised Bengal cat.

She does not answer my emails, does not answer phone calls and has not returned my $2,700.  

Original Emails from her with her lots of promises :



May 6th 2012:
-"He can leave June, 6th "

June 21th 2012:- " I will call the airline get exact dates and times together."

June 29th 2012: -"I making all the flight arrangements first thing tomorrow can you email me what day the week of the 16th to the 20th July" -"Diablo was a boy I was going to keep a year ago. I ended up selling him and the reason he is on my Kings page is beacuse I show my website to alot of people when I am out and have no pictures of him. I am very proud of him and the way he urned out. So I put his pictures on my kings page so I can show him off. Not because i was going to keep him or sell him"

July 27th 2012: - "I do not have the money for the flight. I thought I would by now. I just cant put it together. If you are willing to pay for the flight which I believe is around 400-450. I think you can put the charge on a credit card directly over the phone. I will repay you whatever the cost is when my kittens leave in early September"- "So please if you want to see your cat you will refrain from any further outside communication with other breeders and facebook"

August 7th 2012: -"I will make sure you get him in September."

September 13th 2012: -"I am putting together a solid flight date this week"- " I will be in touch with you over the next ten days with a flight confirmation"

October 10th 2012: - "I should be able to fly the boy soon. I have some pick ups in next week or so as long as everything goes as scheduled."

Ripoff Report October 19th 2012:"I have the money within the next upcoming three weeks"

October 22th 2012: - She has told my friend to send me my boy Ruckus in the next 2 weeks! Her Mail: - "I am promising you that youwill get your boy very soon"

November 10th 2012:- "I HAVE NO MONEY TO SEND YOUR CAT!!!!!!"

November 12th 2012: - "Good news for you!!! I am making flight arrangements to send Ruckus
to you. How is Wednesday of next week for you? I sold a kitten this morning and am looking forward to you getting this amazing boy!"- "I will email you all times tomorrow"

November 16th 2012: - " I have a flight schedule for 21st but don't think that day is going to work. I will know for sure after the weekend as I am still short on funds" - "My attorney suggest I don't send the cat and just send you a refund."

November 19th 2012: -"I am going to send you the cat"- "I will be in touch with a confirmed date"

I make this public because I will other people protect for this disaster what I have experience with her.

11-23-12 - STILL NO KITTEN

As of today, Holly B. still has not sent the kitten to the German breeder.  And strangely enough, a report shows up defaming me and my cattery.  Holly has asked whyI am involved - here is the plea posted by the breeder.  It says it all. IF and when the cat has been sent to Nickole, I will certainly report this to the board.

I have a big problem and I hope someone here maybe can help me. First let me apologize for my bad english and I hope you understand all.

I'm from Germany and breed Bengals.

A year ago in May 2011 I bought in the United States in New Jersey from the Cattery "Spotacularbengals". In June 2011 I paid the agreed deposit, in August 2011 should my cat be flown out. End of July 2011, I made the final payment. At this point, I was always put off, until I had written countless e-mail for weeks, then once again got an answer from her. She claimed, for example, that the necessary papers lacks and that my boy has broken his hip by a fall from the balcony. However, I have never seen until now the promised x-rays. In addition, she had offered me I can get my money back, but I have never seen my money. She promised me in the next litter I can have a boy and have the first choice. The next litter which she had, there were 2 great boys, but apparently this was not her litter, so she told me. In February 2012 she had a litter which she send me picures from 2 boys. One of them I chosen out and everything looked as it would work now at last. My boy has been vaccinated and chipped and could fly out the beginning of June. On one of my e-mails I asked her of the exact flight date but once again I heared nothing from her. Now I've seen on here website my boy on the "Kings" page and she write: this is our new upcoming star ..... The same photos she sent me are now on the actual website. I have send her a lots of emails and ask her why she is cheating me....

I do not know what I should do more, she does not answer my email and my english is not so good that I could talk to her on the phone. In addition, it is very difficult to do something from Germany. Maybe I hope someone can help me, I would be very happy about it, because it's just bad to be betrayed, and I'm finished with my nerves and I have no idea what more can I do more ....

I am the owner Holly Barrile of Spotacular Bengals the cattery that is being slandered by the breeder of Boyds Bengals in Georgia. I have to say I am very dissapointed in Melody Boyd.  I am not sure why Melody has such a personal interest in the transaction between myself and the breeder from Germany that she is trying  to undermine me with. I have been breeding for over 8 years now and have NEVER ripped anyone off.  In fact Melody purchased a stunning female Bengal from me and had become a friend of mine or at least thats what I thought, she also sent me many emails and we have had phone converations about the cat and always spoke highly of her. So I am not quite sure why Melody is lashing out the way she is. I especially don't know what she means by or who she is referring to when she says I defrauded several breeders. There is no truth to that what so ever. I have Bengals in breeder homes all over the United states and have not had one person to date come back and tell me they are unhappy with their Bengal they got from me.  I have always had and maintain a solid reputation. 
I would like to rectify the situation at hand with the breeder in Germany.

A  few years back I had recieved an email from a breeder in Germany "the person mentioned in complaint" She emailed me with kind words of how fascinated she was with my cats and wished some day she could own a Spotacular Bengal. We became friends and began emailing one another often. About a year ago I had a litter of nine 8 of which were all boys. My friend the breeder in Germany was going through a hard time recieving a male Bengal she was buying from another breeder. She saw the babies on my website and just loved the patterns and again stated she wished she could have one of my babies for her program but financially wouldnt be able to afford one because it is costly to  send a cat over seas and alot is involved doing it.  I took a liking to Nicole and offered to send her a kitten at my pet price and not the breeder/show price of 3,500.00 not including the shipping costs,micro chipping and appropriate shots required to send the cat to Germany which is an additional 800.00-1400.00.  So the total for a show quality Bengal and all the expenses to to send the cat usually runs between $4,500.00-$5,000.00  I told the breeder I would be willing to send her a male of her choice for $2,700.00 half of what I should have asked.  The boy she chose had an accident and fractured his hip.  The fracture was pretty serious and flying him would likely have caused the injury to become even more serious. The vet also stated that he would likely have a limp for the rest of his life. Not to mention I now have almost $2000.00 in vet bills. So we both decided it would be best to wait for an upcoming litter and  send her another boy in place of the one with the injury. Unfortunately the next breeding was only 2 kittens and both were females. I offered her a female and she declined because of her need for a male.

It wasnt until February of this year 2012 that I would have a litter from the same parents with a male.  She picked her baby and now it is all about waiting until he is old enough to be flown. He will need to be at least 4 months old to get a rabies shot and he could not be flown for 30 more days after his rabies shot. Putting him at being able to be flown in August. I am no different than anyone else who is struggling trying to make ends meet. I had 3 litters of kittens born in late July and early August. I offered to send the breeder her Bengal in August if she was willing to cover the flight expense and I would reimburse her when my kittens left for their new homes in September/October. I had already paid for the documents, micro chip and rabies vaccination. I just financially did not have the money to cover the flight. She declined and said she would wait until I could afford to send him. I told her that was fine but it wouldn't be until the babies I have now leave and I have the money.  I way under charged but that is my own fault and I have to deal with that.  

So here it is October. My kittens are not all sold my website has been down and my fiance has had some medical issues and was hospitalized.  Life has been very rocky the past 6 months but never have I intended on not sending this cat to Germany and I have been in contact with this breeder in Germany as well as this trouble maker in Georgia who I have also explained my situation to that in reality I dont owe an explanation to at all being she has nothing to do with any of this.  My intentions are to send this boy to Germany as soon as my kittens are spoken for and I have the money within the next upcoming three weeks.  No intent on frauding or keeping anyones money. not my style. I am considering opening a law suit against Boyds Bengals for slander and plan on contacting a lawyer this week coming.
