Spradley Ford Dealership ripoff-Tires for life if you maintence you car at this dealership for all the maintence. Will not honor it now when it comes down to it because was off getting oil change by 2000 miles Fort Collins Colorado

I own two Fords. A 2004 Sport Trac and a 2005 Focus. I have had good experiences with sales and service up until last week. I am very disappointed in my experience with Spradley Ford 4809 S. College , Fort Collins Colorado, 80525.

I take my focus there for servicing. I take my Sport Trac to O'Meara Ford 400 W. 104th St. North Glenn, Co with no problems. Last week my spouse who also happens to work for Ford HVC in Denver took my Focus to be serviced. He ask for the tires to be rotated, He was told they are shot and they were not going to be rotated . He said, no please rotate them. There is 31,000 miles on my Focus. The tires are still good for a least another 10,000 miles according to my spouse who worked as a Ford mechanic for 10 years. He was also told he needed to change the break fluid which he does not believe, with his experience, needs to be done. When asking about the tires for life we were told we did not have that option. Now when I bought the Focus that was one of the things I liked and the reason why we took the Focus to the Fort Collins dealer for service all the time. It was part of the tires for life program that you have your car serviced there everytime. They later called and ask how my experience was with the service dept. I said I was not happy. They investigated and called back saying I did have the tires for life but because I brought my Focus in the last time after 8.000 miles instead of 5,000 they did not have to honor it. It seems to me that operating this way , they may never have to give tires for life. First they said we didn't have it , then they said we do have it but they will not honor it. Looking thru my paper work I could not find the certificate like I have for my Sport Trac. How was I suppose to know that if I went an extra 3,000 miles without an oil change that it would void my tires for life? Since I did not get the paper work when I purchased it.

I have both my Fords financed by Ford Credit and I am sure I will continue to buy Fords. This experience was bad and I don't know who to believe. It makes me mad to think my spouse has to put up with this also since he is a loyal Ford employee and been an employee for over 13 years.
