I contacted three representatives at their company by telephone on 03/09/2012. The first representative hung up on me (Melissa) after I told her I wanted to cancel my service. I called back and talked to another said that she could not can cancel my account and sent me to her Supervisor (Dana). I explained to Dana that I had no idea there was a monthly service fee to use their service, and that I wanted a complete refund of all fees taken on my credit card they have on file.
Dana explained to me that she could refund the current service fee of $15.95, but had no authority to refund the past months fee that was taken against my card. Dana Responded back to me about how it was my fault for not realizing that there was a monthly service fee and STAMPS.COM does not just charge customers credit cards without customers
I brought to Dana's attention the amount of complaints at the Better Business Bureau regarding billing issues, and she dismissed it as if hundreds of customers are as stupid as I am for complaining about their business practices. I told her that I was going to purse other remedies to have this company refund the past service fees and ended the conversation.
This company is setting its self up for a class actions lawsuit, and other legal actions. There are thousands of complaints against this company. They charge customers credit cards without their knowledge or permission, and when you contact them and complain, they make it very difficult to cancel your account, and they refuse to return the monthly service fees they charge without your permission just for the privilege to buy postage from them.
Worst company I have ever come in contact with. Stay FAR FAR Away!
