Our disabled son had to go into the hospital for surgery and decided to have his carpet cleaned while he was away. His Personal assistant let the Stanley Steemer personnel in to do the job. They did not move any furniture or do any spot cleaning as adverttised and left the carpet as dirty as when they arrived. The PA moved one chair they were going around it. Our son was in the hospital and rehab for two months so no one entered his condo except us to check the cat and our son's mail. We noticed the carpet was not properly cleaned but we had more serious problems on our mind so did not call Stanley Steemer immediately which they used as an excuse not to redo the cleaning.

When his Mother finally had time she called the franchised company who had done(not) the cleaning and made an 8 am: appointment for them to inspect the job. She drove 40 miles to be there on time but they did not appear until she called the office. When they finally arrived they were adamant about not stisfying the customer and put the blame for spots on the cat while ignoring the larger dirt areas. The cat had never urinated anywhere except in his box. No one from the company would give us any satisfaction. They screwed our unemployed, disabled son out of $120.00. Never again Stanley Steemer.

Did the Rug sucker explain to his asistant what was going to be done . most of the time miscommunication is the main problem in carpet cleaning . and cat urine stains usually never come out unless you dye them or your rugs like berber.

We have a saying in the carpet cleaning industry, especially if you are shopping for a cheap deal. "If the truck is yella, you called the wrong fella" Thank ya'll for this educational moment!
