If you try to buy a Laptop from them and you say no to the accidental protection plan, they will refuse to sell you the laptop or any high priced electronic device. They don't even want the employees to offer the basic plan. No accidental no laptop I was told many times by the managers.

You are such a lying little scumbag that NO ONE believes anything you say ( or type ). Why don't you do the world a favor and take a sledge hammer to your computer ? And, by the way, what are you doing at home ? I heard that you were spending the weekend in the Phenix City Jail.
This type of sales tactic has beeen used by other retailers as well.

I still stand by what I said back then and it is 100% true. I didn't have a single reason to lie about any of it. My Responsibility was to let people know what goes on behind the curtains.
btw: This lazy person now owns his own IT business and doesn't have to work for anybody.

Human Resources was contacted

I got an email today saying that this report was update and I felt the need to reply to it, even tho this is one year old still doesn't change the fact that the store has the same manager.
I did contacted human resources and it got me nowhere, I was told that they needed to contact the manager and hear his side of the story. I never got a call back and that was the end of it.
I told human resources everything that was going on in the store and the real reason why the manager felt like getting rid of me. I would have not been angry if I knew I wasn't doing my job correctly. They just didn't liked that I was questioning why they were refusing to sell items while they were in stock, just because the customer didn't want to purchase the protection plan.
oh well, it is what it is. I don't care if people believe me or not. It affected me back then, doesn't affect me now.

I worked for Staples also and even though I was a "part-time" employee I was forced to work full-time hours. They wouldn't let me go at my scheduled time and would make me stay super late on nights before I had to open. I was also forced to 8 days in a row starting in the middle of a "Staples week" (I think that's Sunday to Saturday). It was a very terrible experience.
I also had a manager who treated me like I was retarded and /refused/ to believe that one of my co-workers damaged a customer's photograph. She thought it was another co-worker of mine despite the fact that the copy job had been signed by the former co-worker.
I'm glad I left.
