This is an absolutely terrible business. I've seen the manager swear at customers, even use racial slanders against them. When I was there, a customer bought an ice-cream, but upon opening it soon after he left the store, the ice-cream had apparently been tightly wrapped broke cone. 

The store said it was their supplier's problem not theirs.. They customer couldn't eat it obviously and the cost of the ice-cream was well over $4.00. All the customer wanted was to exchange it for another. They refused. The customer then said he wanted his money back. 

After arguing and threatening to call the cops, the manager finally tossed $4.00 at the customer, told him he was a "f**king indian" and to "f**king take your money, you f**king indian and I never want to see you f**king face". 

The customer was obviously embarassed and hurt by the comments and they didn't care. This business should be closed down so no one should experience that kind of treatment. I personally will never shop there again.

Ebay protection

From my dealings on ebay I would suggest you do the following.

  • When creating your listing
    1. Specify that returns suspected of being damaged or altered by the customer or during shipping will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer at their own expense.  Direct them to utilize the shiping insurance.
    2. Utilize set-flat rate shipping amounts or modify item price and use free shipping
  • Before sending your items to the customer
    1. Take high resolution photos of all the items indivigually then as a group.  Be sure to get photos of identifying marks such as serial numbers.
    2. Take high resolution photos of the items in the box before you seal it.
    3. Write the ebay auction number over the top and bottom of the box making sure that some of the numbers are on the tape sealing it.
    4. Have the item weighed and label printed at the post office or UPS store.  (Provides a weight verification that the items are present)
  • If the customer wants a return and items are damaged, altered or replaced.
    1. Take high resolution photos of all the items indivigually then as a group.  Be sure to get photos of identifying marks such as serial numbers.
    2. Notify the customer and inform him that items will be returned at the cost of shipping.
    3. If he opens a protection case, provide images of your items and the items returned
