I've been a victim of not only a scam, but also fraud from Starlightonlinefishshop.com that claims they will sell these endagered fish and their products from a special breeder and from their shop located in the U.S. as a matter of fact they aren't located in the U.S. this shop has no physical address. I've done my research on this company and called the local authorities to see if this company existed in Richmond Virginia and the authorities told me they don't have any company of that name or anything close to a fish store in that town. It's a small town with only a few thousand people or less. So i sent a letter to the Better Business Bureau and they also told me they don't have anything on this company and that I was probably a victim of a scam and fraud which they will investigate.So I began down this road of no return when I decided to purchase a fish from them. Not knowing that these fish were not only allowed in the United States but they are protected by the US fish and Game committee, and by law is not allowed to be owned no matter the legalities that the seller may have or own. This shop claims they are Tagged and Certified by CITIES and sold directly from the breeder. Well all sounds great until you actually purchase the fish. The website also claims they will have the fish delivered to you within 2 days after payment has been made.

Well I paid for my fish....the catchy part is that the website says you can pay by credit card but when payment is made the credit card tab doesn't actually work. So you then get a call from one of their so called customer service who is suppose to walk you through on how to pay and where your order is etc. So i fell for the trick and payed them through Money Gram, and once I thought all was good and my fish was on it's way because I was told that the fish has arrived in a neighboring state getting Tagged and Certified etc. they also sent me certification papers and emails of the process etc. which was pretty convicible that this was actually a legit deal, then on top of that i had to dish out money to pay for the Tagging of the Fish and the shipping and insurance in case the fish died in transit. Well long story short it's been almost a month now and still no fish and no money back from what I dished out for the price of the fish and the price of the insurance, which is now a total of $1000 dollars sent to camaroon, which is well known for ripping people off. I had payed this shipping company this money and when I did research on this shipping company Western Union also confirms that this was a scam and that I was a victim of fraud because of the receivers name being on the fraud blacklist. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND SHOP LOCALLY SO YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM OR YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR ORDER!! THANKS FOR READING.
