Kevin Devoto pulls up to being a convicted felon for securities fraud. Why would a reputable company have a felon for a director? Especially a Sales director? This is just a friendly warning from someone who was almost taken for over $6000.00.

Money for Nothing

I am just about finished with my lease for a cheap computer initiated by Startup Essentials as part of what I thought was a good business opportunity. $6000.00 was supposed to get me lots of free help setting up a website. What I got was a business 101 primer which can easily be obtained for free. As I progressed toward a website I was met with fees for each step. I was broke when I started. I thought the $139.00 a month was going to be my only expense. I thought wrong.
Spend your money elsewhere. Do not give your money to Startup Essentials. All you will get for your $6000.00 is a lease with Bond Corporation for a $500.00 laptop and they will still want the laptop back or $200.00 at the end of the lease.

Bob... You're Kidding, Right?

Quit whining Bob! You said it yourself: You're a loser who couldn't litigate his way out of a paper bag....
That's why nobody's contacted you!
I have to laugh at the way you're sitting around a ripoff board begging for business from people you've already bashed and brow-beaten.
What's even funnier is that you think there's nothing happening outside this forum.
You claim to have never made it as a customer, and you know NOTHING of their business practices, yet you've made it your business to come around acting like a legitimate source of information about this company.
Is it just me, or is that WEIRD?
TO DANA:
Sorry for hi-jacking your post, but this Bob guy has been really focused on confusing legitimate complaints like yours.
You're right... kevin Devoto does pull up as a felon. And what's crazy? He used the same CHASE BANK pitch that Startup Essentials uses to rope in their victims.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the FBI recommended you return the materials.
And further...
If you are reading this and you work at Startup Essentials:
Do a search on ripoffreport for Amway, Greatest Vitamin in The world, or any other SCAM home business, and here's what you will see:
Startup Essentials/USA Card Services has more complaints HANDS DOWN than anyone else!!!
Coincidence? I don't think so, do you?
Normally, the FBI would interview you and admonish you against revealing any information of investigation against supposed offending persons. Then, they would ask you to participate in recorded or monitored phone calls.
I keep reading about how some people allege that people at Start Essentials commit fraud yet not a single person has provided me any evidence to pursue a lawsuit against this company. My contact information is posted on this site and NOT ONE of the supposed people who say they will participate in a lawsuit has contacted me.
From my initial readings on this site, I originally believed there was a chance of a good lawsuit against Start Essentials; however, I am more convinced that it sounds like Start Essentials is the one being scammed by people who have no intention of honoring their business commitments.
Shame!
