Corporate Advocacy Program™
It has been Reported in National and International News the problem that the State of Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles has had with Fraud and Identity Theft over the past 10 years. Wouldn't you know it? Many people are being charged with auto accidents that they had nothing to do with and Fraud with their Insurance companies here and in Illinois, New York, Florida and California. Especially with Traveler's Insurance Company based in California and AIG Insurance Companies. Changes of your actual name, misspelling or variation of name or address, place of employment.
Wake up Call to State of Nevada and Govenor Kenny Guinn
Alleged accidents occured in different locations than what the actual person was in. Traffic tickets assigned to the actual person, while the identity thief goes scott free and the real person left with threats of suspended licenses and attorneys fees. Why? Because after you the real person reports your title to your vehicle being stolen or driver's license the State of Nevada doesn't bother to change the number of your license or make a note that you have presented them with Police reports and Federal Trade Commission Reports.

POSTED: Friday, November 03, 2006With that said, I am familiar with the way NV works and the DMV location in question as I lived in Vegas 7 years.
You need to stay off the phone, and start sending your own certified letters. The burden of proof is on the State, not on you. If you say it was not you, they MUST prove that it was. It really is as simple as that.
You need to get certified statements from your insurer stating that you were covered during the time in question. If you have your own statements and proof of payment, make notorized copies of them as well. It is all in documentation.
If they are blaming you for an accident, they MUST prove it was you at the scene.
Just too many things don't add up here as all of this is real simple to fix. IF done properly.
Stay off the phone. Write certified letters. gather evidence. Done.

Retaliation For Reporting the Sate of Nevada DMV

POSTED: Thursday, November 02, 2006When I confronted them at the Sahara and Atlantic DMV, I was told that if I wanted my vehicle I would have to pay upwards of $250.00 plus other fees without a court proceeding. They have been responsible for thousands of people's Identities being stolen and titles to their cars cloned and stolen administratively, with the help of the DMV, for the right price and connection. They also through ChoicePoint have added an auto accident and other people's information to the Choicepoint report. there is no damage to my vehicle and have invited law enforcement to look at it. the DMV is in colusion with person's committing Insurance fraud. I think the Federal Government needs to investigate them for no other reason but the Theft of people's vehicles and Identity Theft.
