I went to the website
www.statewidewarranty.com and signed up for a 2 year membership because it offered the most competitive rates.
Keith Goodman (email@example.com) at once emailed me back and then called me. He appeared very genuine and sold me a 2 year policy. He did not accept credit cards (which seemed strange to me) and asked me to mail a check to some address in Los Angeles.
I mailed the check, and that was the end of it.
I did not receive any warranty papers, no warranty cards, even the phone number on the website
www.statewidewarranty.com now either does not answer to redirects to another phone number which is an advertisement for Dish network. This person (Keith Goodman) is essentially missing in action.
Bottom line, statewidewarranty.com is a scam of the highest order. If you give them any money, kiss it goodbye for good.
