My local statefarm agent lied to the main office saying they was never notified of my accident last setember. They lied because they did not want to pay the last of my medical bills because the other insurance company omni refused to compensate me for all medical bills my claim was denied.
I have a letter from the hospital contacting them & they flat out refuse to admit It. Statefarm just don't like to pay claim's so they make any & every excuse to make you look "BAD". Statefarm Is listed a "Bad Faith" insurance company.

If you are recording a police officer do not let them know you are. Even if it is legal. There have been too many situations of officers taking recording equipment away from citizens under the pretense the citizen is "interferring" with their duties. In fact do not let anyone know at the time you are recording them. The best thing to do in any situation is to record, be polite to the other person (because you want to leave and copy your recording), walk away, go home and then upload the recording to your computer so you have a copy. THEN make your formal complaint with your copy of the recording. Then, no more disputes over who was right - it's all on the recording as proof.

I agree State Farm sucks. They raised the homeowner rates on a friend of mine by double when she had no claims and no change in her credit rating. It was all due to claims filed by other nearby homeowners living in million dollar plus homes - yet she got hit with rate increases.
Unfortunately as you have found out, getting mad at the agent wont help. He/she is there just to sell the policy. Claims and disputes have to be dealt with by the actual company that underwrites the policy. And, as you have unfortunately discovered they are also paid to find any way possible not to pay out on your claim since their main responsibility is to their shareholders and investors and not to the people they actually insure. A personal injury attorney can sometimes be a good idea if this is the case - check and see if they will take it on contingency as this is the best test of whether or not you have a strong case.
Unfortunately given the passage of time and expiration of any statute of limitations there is not anything I or anyone else can do to help you on this particular situation with State Farm. Id like to make some recommendations in the interest of helping you going forward.
Ultimately recording conversations should be a huge help to you as it will provide irrefutable evidence of what happened. The law does not recognize that something is fact just because you say so even if what you are saying is true. You need indisputable third party evidence and recording would provide that for you.

- Buy a recorder best if it is one of those small audio visual ones that can be worn on a cord around your neck like a pendant you can tuck it into the top of your shirt and no one will be the wiser. Make a habit of wearing this whenever you go out. You can get one anywhere from $79 - $139.
- Record important conversations (and video with the embedded camera as well if it makes sense).
- Since Alabama is a single party consent state you are OK to record the conversations of someone else without their knowledge. Everyone else needs to check the laws for their own states.
- Take pictures immediately if an accident and get written signed statements from any witnesses and ask to review any police reports before they are filed to dispute any inaccuracies.

If you had actually read the bulk of Charles' rants on here, covering the past 10+ years, you would realize that he hasn't told a truthful fact in any of them. Many of the people and companies he has lied about have come on here to give the real facts, and in some cases have actually taken legal action against this trouble maker. The boy is a nothing but a compulsive liar who causes problems wherever he goes, and then lies about it in order to gain sympathy.
He has been thrown out of at least 2 doctor's offices, thrown out of K-Mart and Walmart as well as several other places of business, was not allowed to attend his own father's funeral because of his tantrums, was thrown out of high school due to his threatening of students and teachers, has defaulted on several loans and threatened the people who work at the banks, was thrown out of a neighborhood because he and his scamming mother violated the HOA's rules, has been arrested numerous times ( the Phenix City Police Dept. know him very well )............need I go on ??? There is so much more. The archives here are filled with dozens of his posts admitting to all of these things and more.

I realize the chances of this being correct is about one in a million. But what I really want to know, how many insurance claims have you made? The number of police reports filed would also be very interesting.
And I know your going to say it, so let me point out that I AM NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN, I am NOT attacking you, and I DO NOT work for statefarm. I am not trying to discredit you, I am just honestly curious about how much you are curving the national average of statefarm insurance claims.

What's this? My local state farm office did not do their job properly. They lied to the main office saying the accident wasn't reported to them when they knew damn well it was. Statefarm just didn't want to pay the remaining medical bills.
The insurance commissioner office isn't much help either. Because they side with the insurance company everytime.
And how many times have you had an accident and experienced this?

I hope that letter isn't from the same hospital with the 200 pound nurse that slammed her body into you, causing injuries, just because you asked an innocent question. Did you ever get your "injuries" taken care of from that incident?
