I obtained the companies from United Lending Services Co via the internet. I filed and application and was contacted by Sterling Capital World Wide by Ms. Sara Reed She arranged and processed my loan application for $10,000.00 on January 30, 2013 I was emailed documents and was instructed that my monthly payments would be $258.46 a month for 5 years. I was told I would need to have $775.38 as a 3 month collateral showing I would be able to make the payments as was done. they have copies of personal document as well On or about February 2, 2013 I was contacted by a Mr. Kyle Cooper who instructed me that he would be the person who would now be the contact person obtaing the loan from would be lending agents or companies. He had the verification of my documents and the collateral payment that was made on February 8, 2013 through Money Gram in the amount of $775.38 plus an additional Money Gram fee of $10.50 totaling $785.88. After 2 weeks Mr. Cooper contacted by phone and confirmed that he found a company to finance the $10,000.00 that was to be release withing a week. On February 22, 2013 I phoned Mr. Cooper and was told that I would need tosend an additional $500.00 which I did not send and did not have to send. I then instructed him 1 week later to cancel my loan application and issue my refund of the collateral payment in the amount of $775.38 plus the Money Gram fee of $10.50 totaling the full amount of $785.88. I was informed by Mr. Cooper that the refund would take approximately 30 days to process, stating by the first week of April, 2013 I should have my refund. I phoned Mr. Cooper on Monday, April 15, 2013 left a message at the phone number he provided from the first day of contact (876-578-6180). I received no response. I phoned again on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at approximately 4:10 pm and he answered. I identified who I was and he immediately knew why I was calling, stating "Oh you're calling about your refund?", I said yes, I was supposed to have my refund by the first week of April and now it is going into the third week and inquiried what was going on. He then said that I had about another 9 days to wait and I quickly reminded him of the proior conversations and time frame of my refund. He promised to call back with an update. Least to say that I have not heard from him since. I have tgried all phone numbers regarding Mr. Cooper and getting someone else saying they know of no one of that name or I get and answering machine with a female voice, or sometimes just a series of odd sounds. Ms Reeds number is no longer in service and the website page is gone. I need my money returned ASAP, I have a son graduating college in a few weeks. This is totally unacceptable. These people need to be found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law for misrepresentation of a loan lending, finding and all around financing company. I have reported them to the better business bureau for they have offices in other states. Please keep me updated for further prosecution options.
