After approximatley 6 months and $2500 paid to his company Mr. Gurnee and his attorney seemed to dissapear. I did my due dillegence when contacting Mr. Gurnee about this opportunity and it seemed very legit and a promissing business venture that we could create. I provided him with everytyhing he asked for including money for what he claimed were closing fees for the investment and they were to be paid to his attorney for these fees. He seemed upfront. I could tell because of the questions he asked the information he requested ect. But as it turns out he was unreliable, decietful, and fraudulent. After 6 months as it turned out I am out several thousand dollars 6 months of my time and now turning elsewhere for a small buisness loan. Bottom line dont get involved with this person you will only come out behind.

Our fee was for the due diligence we performed on his proposed start up. Also, he agreed to pay this fee, in writing at the very beginning of our process. All of our fees are directly spelled out and put in writing, as well as agreed upon prior to our services beginning. We performed our service and tried very hard to get his funding request placed however due to the difficult nature of his particular request and the current financial market conditions it took longer than he would have liked.
