Dave Roscoe, came out to our house and said he would fix our drywall and make sure it matched. He did the work and then left. It needed 6 hours or more to dry. The next day the color didn't match and it sagged. He assured us he would be back to to make it right. After that he had a ton of supposed personal problems which delayed his return.
Four months later he finally called assuring us he would now make it right. He set a time at 11am, August 7th, 2012. He stood us up and did not call and now won't return calls. We are done with this guy. Additionally he took payment and promised us to email our receipt. We never received one after asking many times for it. This guy is a total rip off. He comes across like a straight shooter but after dealing with him four months or more he has yet to do one thing he said he was going to do.

If you google his new phone number or look it up on Craigslist under skilled trades you can find plenty more ads he is posting. He is also now using the name of david choi and advertising as choi's plumbing. He still has a warrant out for his arrest so if anyone see's him call the authorities!

I know David Rosko has changed his phone number but he is still stealing money from home-owners on Craigs-list. FYI- He has a child-support arrest warrant now for $20,000.00. Not only does he swindle money from honest people but his own children too. You can see his warrant on MCSO website. If anyone can find him and turn him atleast he can be held accountable for something as he is loose now stealing from people. That con-man is only good at taking your money,smiling and making excuses/lies to steal from anyone he can.

There are other reports for him on this site but they use his real name.. I posted to another of these complaints. He's a sociopath. Just as that other person suggested, check out all the court cases in maricopa and mesa. Also his CA contractors license was REVOKED and see the San Francisco court cases. Between there and all the court cases here, he has a long history of ripping people off and those are only the ones that file complaints. Please file your complaints but use his correct name- Good luck.

LYING AS A WAY OF LIFE

Well here I am posting for the final time. Predictable was Daves treatment of us one last time. We got stood up for the final time, WE ARE DONE. Two weeks ago when I posted an unfavorable report on him. Dave called me promising that he would make this problem right. He asked me to retract my report on him as it would cause him to not get a large job he was bidding on. So like the gullible person I guess I am, I did. I think if he ever told the truth hed combust on the spot. Now as of 9/22/2012 his father is supposedly in the hospital again.
Id believe that if Dave had not lied to me at least 20 times in the last 6 months. I am embarrassed for a man in his forties that lies and lies and lies and lies and lies like a puerile 5 year old trying to get over on his parents. How horrible to live like that! I am immediately filing a report with the Registrar of Contractors. I am 56 years old and I have never sued anyone or made a report on anyone in my life. Thanks to the problematic and extremely dishonest Dave Roscoe thats all about to change. I think 6 months of being patient and being lied to nonstop is enough grace to offer anyone. This is my last post. There wont be another retraction.

Dave Rosko has a warrant for his arrest for forgery, which is a class 4 felony, and a criminal complaint against him for unlicensed contractor violations and forgery. Check out the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office website and you will see a warrant issued. Check out the Maricopa County Justice Court website to view the criminal case against him. Apparently, he is ripping off everyone in town. I just got a call from one of his employees that didn't get paid for the work he did. He also took $1,000 from me and never did any work or deliver any materials whatsoever. This was 2 months ago. File a report against him with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors as soon as you can. This guy definitely needs to be stopped. Don't fall for his smooth talk. He actually told me his father passed away in order to avoid giving me back my money. This guy is disgusting. Who would ever say their father died to avoid paying back money or doing work. Do yourself and the rest of the valley a favor and report him. You have a good chance of getting paid back in the form of restitution when the case goes to court.

I am trying to go about having this complaint erased. Dave has set up an appointment to come to my house and make this all right on Saturday. My intent is most certainly not to hurt Dave Roscoe. Dave is a very personable, likeable guy and I do understand that in life things do happen. Consider this a retraction and after Dave comes over on Saturday Ill either have this all erased or if they wont let me Ill write letting everyone know its completely satisfied. I feel bad about all the confusion, because in truth I like Dave.

THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES

Well here I am again! This is Steve and you guessed it I was wrong in thinking Dave Roscoe was going to do the right thing. Dave stood me up another 3 times. The one time he did show up, he punched a hole in the ceiling and made his existing subpar work even worse. Personally I think he's possibly a habitual liar. He lies and lies when the truth would be better. Anyway, our home is still incomplete!
A three hour job is now going on the 5th month. This has turned out to be nothing other than a royal nightmare and getting ripped off for $1,000. I will not post another retraction on my original complaint UNTIL THE JOB IS COMPLETE. I have already filed complaints with the BBB and Consumer Affairs. Ill be filing complaints with the Attorney General and the Registrar of contractors next week. Personally we are sorry we ever met Dave Roscoe and sorry we ever heard of Strictly Custom General Contracting. If you are looking to have a massive nightmare ( operative word being MASSIVE) , give this guy a call.

My name is Steve. I filed the original and to my knowledge only report on this company. Dave Roscoe came to our house today and started the completion stage of our repair. Although it is not complete I am confident he will complete it in a timely manner. The company made it right and it looks as if though all will be well. I might have jumped the gun in filing this report. Either way...Dave is making it right and that's all I can ask.

Dave Roscoe, came out to my house today and is making right the problem I have and rectifying the problem that was the cause of me filing this report. He is not quite done yet but I am confident at this point that he will make this completely right. I am writing this because I most certainly don't want to make a claim or hurt the reputation of anyone that is willing to do good business. So at this point I am retracting my complaint.
