Styles Checks Lured in with low pricing, but they get you with buying twice, Internet

In looking for top-stub checks I came across Styles and assumed it was just like Image Checks, but less expensive.  So it seemed.  I have had my bank account number memorized for about 20 years, so when I received my checks in the mail, it did not take long to recognize something was wrong.  There was one number on my account that was wrong.  Data entry error?  Perhaps.  However, when I called it seemed like this happened all the time and there was a scripted protocol for dealing with this issue.  

They offered to send me a printout of the order as it was in their system.  So, they can edit something and send it to me as evidence that they printed what I gave them?  Hmm.  There was no "proof" during the order.  I sent it in (checking for errors along the way) and was never given a chance to see what was entered either on screen or in an e-mail. 

That was strange enough.  When I called Latesha (sp?) immediately said we could re-do the order for half the normal charge.  Seems like this happens a lot.  I didn't like that idea and eventually got a manager on the phone who said they would fix the problem and send out new checks for a few bucks.  I reluctantly agreed, knowing I would have my revenge online. Steer clear unless you want headaches and an ill feeling.
