I went to subway on September 13, 2008 on Zebulon Road in Macon Ga. order 4 subs 2 coldcuts, 1 club, and 1 chicken bacon ranch. On flatshoals pkwy in Decatur Georgia I have order the same subs and was charge $5.00 per sandwich plus tax. At this subway in macon they charge $6.49 for the same same subs. I was giving a charge, question the charge, lied to, paid and asked for the receipt.

First the cashier did not not give me my change and when I asked for my change did not apologize for keeping it. I had to asked for the receipt twice before she gave it to me. When I received the receipt I noticed the charge for the club and the chicken bacon ranch was $6.49. At this point I was disappointed that I was overcharged and I had to ask for my change. I asked for a refund and was refused.

I asked to speak to manager and the cashier called her on the phone. I told the manager I wanted a refund and I was told to come back next week. I told the manager I am from out of town and I want be able to return next week. Her reply was sorry I'm off and won't be working until next week. The cashier then spoke back with the manager saying he is standing here.

Not sure what was said on the other end of phone because next she threaten to call the police. Like I was suppose to be afraid. She call the police and was transfer to the sheriff department. The sheriff people must have asked what color is he because the cashier then said black. They must have also asked what color shirt I had on because she said I had a black shirt. My shirt was blue. This fool was color blind or stupid. The cashier kept talking unnecessary to me after hanging up with the sheriff department. I felt she was trying to get a response.

At first I ignored her while waiting for the sheriff department or the police. While standing at the counter she apologize to one of the customer by saying I am sorry for the wait sometime you have to deal with ignorant people. I then said your mama is ignorant. Her response is now my mama is dead. My response is I am not surprise if I bore a fool like you I would kill myself too. She then said I am going to have you arrested for threatening me. She kept on talking. I then told her to go to hell. She kept on with the bull crap while I waited for the police.

To make a long story short the police could not do anything because I had not broke a law she lied to police in so many ways it was ridiculous. I was given a case number and told not to come to that Subway. The deputy said that should not be a problem since you are from Atlanta. I said you do not have to worry because I would not do bussiness here again anyway. But I still want a refund. Well I did not get a refund. This was black own subway I believe there is something about Black people they do not like returning your money. Of course I am black and its hard to understand. Never been in a place where you could not get a refund or they called the police for asking for a refund. Those $5.00 subs might not be $5.00. Ask for a receipt before you pay for you sandwich and use your cell phone to calculate the tax.

Menu Price..

You mentioned that one Subway charged $5 for a sandwich and this Subway charged you $6.49. The one thing you did not mention is what was the price on the menu.

It is not uncommon since most Fast Food resturants are independently owned to have different prices. If you were charged what was on the menu it was not a RipOff and you were charged correctly.

As for asking for your receipt before you pay..well that is never going to happen.
