We have used SUDDENLINK for a few years now. ( Only high speed company in town ) We pay $150 a month for just internet and cable. NO PHONE-we use our cells. My internet is supposed to be 10-12 MB down and 1 MB up. I wanted the upload more than the download because I am a computer tech and my wife is a photographer. We do alot of uploading. Our service worked fine for about a month, then the speeds cut in half.

My 1MB upload dropped to 512 and my download dropped to 4-6 MB. They told me it was my computers, and routers, and wires, and coax cables. REMEMBER IM A COMPUTER TECH...... I got new routers, ran all new CAT5, ran all new coax, got all new top line splitters. even made SUDDENLINK some out and run new line to the polls. Speed worked for 5 FREAKING MINUTES, then right back down to 3 MB down and 256 Up. So now im through the roof!! They gave me 3 months 10 bucks off my bill!!! WOW!!

I called again to "talk" about my anger, and the lady was soo, very, very,................rude. Like an "I don't care" attitude. I told her that my friend is Austin has Verizon FIOS and that his speeds are 30MB down and 30 MB up. Can they compare to this? Or im going with verizon. She looked at the verizon site and said yeah but its $130 a month.( AGAIN, I PAY $150 a month with suddenlink) I said I dont care about cost, I care about my speed and being treated fair. She said, " You don't care about price?,..(laughing) yeah sure, well then maybe you should go with verizon." GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE HUH?!!!!

We have been going over our bills from SUDDENLINK, from the past 3 to 4 years, and it seems we have been charged for things that we dont have, ( to the tune of $3800) and in some cases charged twice for services we dont have. They have told me that I pay for the V.I.P. service, and im not promised my full 10-12 MB down or my 1 MB upload, it is only a guess at my speed,My 10-12 MB download and 1 MB upload only insures that im the last to get kicked off line! ( False Advertisment )

I'm starting to think, I pay for the speed that I get, and I can't promise a full $150 a month, i'll have to guess at what I think is fair. So im sending 30 bucks this month. I work for major corps here and universities. I dont have a problem getting people to boycott this company. They already talk about how bad SUDDENLINK is.

I have taken legal advice on these matters. It seems like the only way to get anything done. I have tried so hard to work with SUDDENLINK, until I realized, why do I have to sell myself to them, Im buying their service, I,... WE deserve the best service and support, and SUDDENLINK cannot offer those. So they must pay the price.
