Why everytime the Sullivan Center writes a review on here they say nothing useful or do anything to really even establish their innocence? They do not provide services as promised. They charge 100$ just for your consult which they promise to take off or your procedure price if you do have anything done. Just DON'T do it! Also, I refused to give my insurance info and said I did not have the card on the day I went since I was paying out of pocket anyways. Sometimes if you go to an er or dr after any elective procedure done for cosmetic purposes only and have some emergency or reaction, fyi, your insurance may not cover it if its been reported to them as such. Just an fyi for anyone who may not have known that.

However you cannot charge for a procedure that was never scheduled in the first place. That is illegal

The Sullivan Centre has had a cancellation/rescheduling policy since opening in 1996. The policy is printed very clearly on the cost analysis document that each patient reviews and signs prior to scheduling surgery. A staff member explains this policy and the patient signs the document confirming they are aware of the strict policy. This policy works very well for us as it allows the patient to contemplate the financial commitment to the surgery. Our anesthesiologists are contracted through a group that also supplies anesthesia to a local hospital. When surgical procedures are cancelled it also impacts the hospital staffing. For the past 10 years, I have been responsible for surgical scheduling at The Sullivan Centre. I have never enforced the cancellation/rescheduling policy without fully exploring all options on a case-by-case basis. The Sullivan Centre is a respected Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical facility. To make the claim that the Centre is a rip-off is to imply that we do not offer value for services. This claim is highly untrue. We take surgical procedures very seriously, as should anyone considering any type of elective surgery.
