My girlfriend and I went to Las Vegas on November 4, 2012 to visit family. We booked an all-inclusive package deal with Orbitz that included JetBlue airfare and a 6 night stay at the Suncoast. Upon checking in, we were told that we were "prepaid" and that no additional fees would be due provided that we did not use premium services such as room service, subscription TV, etc. We did not use these services. Well, lo and behold, we got charged and additional $30 "resort fee" (ie: "nuisance fee") at checkout time! The lady at the checkout desk was a real piece of work, parroting "corporate policy" and other such nonsense in an attempt to justify ripping us off. Well, I hope that the management and staff at Suncoast enjoy the $30 that they extorted from us because they will most assuredly never see our business again. LIARS AND RIPOFF ARTISTS! SHAME ON YOU SUNCOAST PEOPLE!
