On July 6th I purchased a scooter from Scooterdepot.us, either red or blue. After ordering online I received a phonecall explaining to me that the particular scooter I ordered is not available for my state, so I chose another scooter similar to my first order in red or blue. I had it shipped to my mechanics shop since it had to be assembled. It arrived while I was at work, my mechanic called and told me the scooter arrived they assembled it and it drives nice, however he wondered why I ordered screaming pink! Well I didn't. From that day on I have spend every day an average of 1 hour on hold with customer service. First they told me that I should have it repainted, but its more than the scooter. So I told them to just give me a discount, never heard back. To top it all off I received the title yesterday and its not a 2009 but a 2008.
They told me that its a 2009 but its manufactured in 2008, garbage!! I know better, its a 2008. I contacted my credit card company and gave them one last chance to make it right, now they are offering me either black or silver, but he can't say for sure if its a 2009 or 2008. I even offered them to give me a $ 200.00 discount and I will walk away, again, please hold, than we will call you back. They told me for a week straight that they would call me back and I never heard back from them.
What a nightmare. Not only did I get the wrong color, I also got the wrong year. NEVER EVER EVER buy from them. Their customer service is a nightmare seriously.
I am so ready to throw the towel in, the scooter was a gift to our child. I am extremly upset about the whole situation and feel terrible helpless. If I don't hear from them today I will just have to end up disputing it with my credit card, because obviously nobody else seems to care.
So my advice.. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
