We purchased our Camper on 2/22/2014 the sales office was amazing the financing a breeze.  Here is where things went sour, we took ownership of on 03/01/2014, we decided that YAY we have our Camper lets go camping, the walk thru was helpful in learning how things worked, we were somewhat familiar as we also have a trailer.  Our first night in the camper was all but fun, the propane leaked that the regulator (dangerous), so we were not able to cook or use the heat... now that we are sitting in the camper we began to notice other issues, one of the switches to the electric jack was hanging by a thread so not molded to the jack, the heater was not mounted correctly/crooked and not sealed, there was an electrical box under bathroom sink literally mounted by one screw that required 4, there was a drawer that not on track actualy the fixture was falling off so not really mounted correctly to fit on the track, a bent/broken curtain rod at the pass through window, the door does seal all the way the threshold is crooked, on the outside there was a hole where there was no caulking, (this would allow moisture which would cause water damage) Now it is a Saturday so NO SERVICE is open we drive home, it is raining and when we get home we find that the pass through window is leaking and there is now water all over the curtain and seat/step.

Monday come around I call the service department I get David, I explain to David/Dave, what has transpired, he tells me to send him an email the email is not a company email but his personal email on Mon 03/03/2014 I did not hear from him, I called the next day and he stated that he did not receive it.. I sent it a second time 03/04/2014, this time he receives it... because we live 2 hours away and the camper should have never been released to us in to us until it was safe to be in, we requested they come and pick up the camper to make the necessary repairs, David/Dave stated that he did not think they could do that because he was new and was not sure of the process.  After dealing David I felt that we really needed to be talking to someone that has experience and was actually working with our camper to begin with, I was then passed off to Nathan who was the person who handled our service set up, he apologized and stated that I should not have been talking to David to begin with.  Nathan arranged for the camper to be picked up David gave him the list of issues. However I went over them with him as well to ensure the understanding of what needed to be repaired and how upset I was that we were allowed to leave with a camper that was not safe. (which tells me they did not inspect the work that was done when the propane was installed) He assured me that he would take care of everything and would notify me when completed 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing I call to find out that... most of the repairs have been done, however waiting for a back plate for the heater, it was ordered, however Nathan was going to see if the technician could fix w/o a new back plate, I called the next day and it turns out the hole was too large and this would require the new back plate to properly install and mount the heater appropriately.  I talked with Nathan on 03/19/2014 he states the back plate is here and will have technician on it right away, I called on 03/20/2014 and Nathan gives me this OH I was just about to call you and tell you that I am working seeing if the technician is completed and will arrange for delivery tomorrow, will call you first thing AM (Saturday 03/22/2014)

I did not hear from him so I call.. to find out he (Nathan) does not work on Saturdays, hmmm... I talk to Jesse I go over what Nathan had said the day before she said she would check status and to call back if I did not hear from her by 3:00, I call around 4:00 I got David/Dave on the phone this guy is a real piece of work, I express my frustrations that Nathan was supposed to have called me, then come to find out he does not work on Saturdays, and there was NO way they were going to deliver the Camper to us on a Saturday, David/Dave proceeds to tell me that he does not understand why the camper needed to be fixed as it went thru the inspection just fine... mind you the Propane was leaking... isn’t this dangerous?  I just lost it, I could not believe this service person who is all but NO service... just told me that nothing was wrong with the camper I stated that we were very upset over the fact we could have been blown up this did not seem to matter to him, and he felt our issues were not warranted. I hung up.

On Monday 03/24/2014, I called Nathan and expressed again frustrations that he lied to me about delivering the camper to us on a Saturday, and what David/Dave had stated, Nathan apologized and advise the camper was ready and would be delivered tomorrow  Tues. 03/25/2014, at 2pm I get a call from Nathan telling me that... the guy who was supposed to deliver the camper today, was not able to do so and the reasoning, was unjustified... the excuse was his truck broke down and his phone was not working he did not notify us until now... really?   Nathan should have been on the ball and got someone else to deliver the camper if that driver could not and Nathan knew this at 8am when the driver did not show up.  Now... today the camper is delivered 03/36/2014 and are you ready for this!!!!!  the door is still not fixed, does not close/seal correctly the threshold STILL CROOKED, pass-thru window STILL LEAKS, now the propane seems to be working. THE HEATER IS NOT!!!!! not to mention they left their mess in the camper so sawdust and dirt everywhere. UNBELIEVEABLE, I call Nathan and let him have it, as it was unexceptable to deliver this camper that was not correctly fixed and inspected before leaving the service center. Nathan can only apologize that he should have made sure all issues were repaired and working before leaving the service center.. but he did not. I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU HOW ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED WE ARE.  WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SUNSET RV SERVICE FOR ANY KIND OF REPAIRS.
