 We stayed at this horrible hotel on June 28th for a high school reunion. The rooms were run down, and there were holes in the blankets.  My husband smoked outside, and used a disposable cup as an ashtray, as to not litter the parking lot.  Well, July 1st, we receive a smoking charge to our room, 4 days later, because they found the cup in the garbage with the butts in it.  they say there were ashes on the floor, but that could not have happened, since he smoked outside.  When I called to complain about the charges, the "customer service agent" Randy, told me "F*** You" , and hung up on me. If that isn't enough, the General Manager, Sharice, refuses to do anything to resolve both problems, regarding the false smoking charges, as well as the employee with a filthy mouth.  I will never, ever, EVER stay at this hotel again, and hopefully, through this reveiw, no one else will make the mistake of staying in this DISGUSTING hotel, with their distasteful employees and disturbing business practices.

Laughable

Everything you are saying is laughable.  I have witnesses to the fact of what your employee said to me, and what I said to him.  Do you understand that this is going to keep going on until what is right prevails?  Do you understand that your employee is just trying to cover their own butt?  Do you understand that even your OWN company has asked that you stop emailing me, because of your harrassment?  Of course you don't want to admit that you are wrong, because that would show how deeply incompetent you and your staff really are.   I don't need to use racial slurs or profanity.  I am a highly educated person.  I don't NEED the refund.  I have plenty of money.   This could have been handled simply, if you had done your job, and trained your employees in customer service.  If you had done your job, and realized that the customer is always right.  If you had done your job, and made inquiries, as to whether or not the room smelled like smoke.  If it had, it would have been detailed in the original report, which it wasn't.  All you found were butts in a cup, in the garbage can, and a few ashes that must have spilled out.  But no, instead of realizing that MAYBE, just MAYBE you were wrong, you brought out false allegations of racial slurs, profanity, etc.  It is ridiculous, and shows a great deal of ignorance.  Now, so this does not start another stupid war between us, I am not saying you are ignorant.  I am saying that the fact that you are not willing to accept that maybe you are in the wrong is ignorant.  Your company will handle this, Sharice, you can step back.  They obviously have more customer service skills, and knowledge than you will ever have in the hospitality industry.  This matter is now closed, as far as you are concerned.  We will not be coming anywhere near your roach motel ever again.

 Sorry "Angel" but I am in no way affiliated with the ppl YOU have complained about. Much like ANY person who rebuts on this site, I am a consumer JUST LIKE YOU!!! Which means that I as a consumer find your story to be a pack of lies. You can TRY and play the victim all you like. It still wont change the FACTS as YOU have presented them. Much like any other person who posts on this site, YOU HAVE ASSUMED!!!! You ASSUME that the people rebutting YOU are the ppl YOU are complaining about. Lets be honest here, THEY DONT CARE!!!!!!! As far as THEY are concerned YOU tried circumventing the "smoking" policy and THEY charged you for it. As for YOU being treated poorly, YOU have a part in all of this. YOU are trying to play the "Immaculate Victim". Meaning you DID NOTHING!!!! But we all know better!!! YOU ran your mouth and YOU insulted the people that YOU were speaking with. They had enough of your mouth and told you to F off. Seems pretty cut and dry to me. YOU as a citizen DO have rights but YOU are trying to place YOUR RIGHTS above the rights of ANOTHER CITIZEN!!!!! It doesn't work that way. ALL ARE EQUAL!!!! It always amazes me at how quickly people like YOU can sit there and treat ppl like crap yet turn around and call THEM bad and evil when YOU instigated the situation. Ok we get it. YOU are getting a "unfair" charge but its a charge YOU earned. YOUR husband threw his ashcup in the trash in the room. As far as they are concerned, YOU tried to skip out on paying for a smoking room. How is this difficult to understand?? Is it "fair"?...NOPE!!! But it IS right. Had YOUR husband just thrown away his ashcup in a trash that WAS NOT in the NON SMOKING room YOU would have NEVER had to call and abuse the employees and would have never been told to F off. Perhaps YOU need to look at YOUR behavior and examine HOW you interacting with the public affects the responses YOU receive. And NO!!!! The customer IS NOT always right. That addage has NOT been accurate since the 1950's when the baby boomers flooded society with their prodigy. Once THAT happened, the customer became THE ENEMY!!! More to the point the Law FAVORS the business AND the business owner. Customers are lying, cheating, thieves, who think NOTHING of stealing and lying to get what THEY want. THAT is what THEY are seeing with YOU!!! YOU are lying because YOU didn't want to pay the extra charges for a smoking room. THAT is what they see!!! YOU cant blame them for charging YOU because the PROOF is the ashcup in the rooms trash!! Once they saw that, they charged YOU. All of this could have been avoided. All of this is on you!!! Treat ppl better!!! Just because they are helping you and serving you doesn't give you ANY RIGHT to be abusive. YOU NEED TO LEARN THIS!!!!!! THEY have the EXACT same rights as YOU!! YOU cannot demean their rights because you are unhappy. You cannot dismiss their rights AT ALL!!!! And that's what YOU are doing. Youre placing YOUR rights above the rights of the ppl YOU abused in some odd version of the customer is always right. Sorry but YOU ARE WRONG!!!! YOU did this to yourself and no amount of BS is going to change their mind. This is YOUR fault for running your mouth and your husbands fault for leaving his ashcup in the non smoking rooms trash. Maybe next time just get the smoking room!!!

You stated in your headline false racist accusations so your rebuttal is crap. IF this facility was so bad what is the reason you stayed there??? You could have left at anytime.

I have never been insulted like this. I am not racist, I do not make abusive, racial slurs towards anyone, and it is very sad that in this day and age, someone is ignorant enough to lie about someone being a bigot. Being that I have only spoken on the phone to your employees, how would I be able to differentiate the color of your skin?  This is slanderous, hateful behavior on your part, and it speaks more to the type of person you are than the type of person I am. 

Whhat if I went around saying you did this or that because I am white? What does iit matter the color of anyones skin in this century?  I don't judge a person by anything other than who they are and how they treat others.  So I guess what I am saying is, I am judging you for who you are.  Someone that is so sad, and scared to admit they are in the wrong that they have to  lie about a good person who is trying to right a wrong. 

I have the right as a consumer and an american citizen to complain about shady business practices, and rude customer service.  I have the right to inform other people of this great nation what they are in store for if they stay at your establishment.  By wording your reply the way you did speaks volumes to your character.  And me speaking the truth, by what I said, speaks to mine. 

I truly hope the Lord above blesses you with the content of character to be truthful, and not just play a race card because it suits you.  I was not, nor have I ever been abusive in language to anyone. Can you say the same?   Could it be, perhaps that the truth was stretched on your side, by someone who did not want to get into trouble, and was perhaps, just perhaps, having a bad day and took it out on a customer?  Isn't the Customer always right? Aren't you in the hospitality industry?  These are all valid points that maybe you should think about.

 Unfortunatly even though YOU have an issue, that doesn't give you the right to be abusive to an employee. NO EMPLOYEE IS EVER PAID ENOUGH TO BE ABUSED BY YOU!!!! In order to illicit that form of response, YOU had to be abusive and aggressive with that abuse. So perhaps you EARNED the F bomb YOU received. While it is unfortunate that you are getting the smoking charge, the ONLY proof they needed is the FACT that your husband disposed of his smoking cup IN THE ROOM!!! Had he carried it a few extra feet, he could have thrown it away in a PUBLIC trashcan. While it IS kinda unfair, it IS of your own doing. YOU need to address YOUR behavior because MOST PEOPLE don't start off with the Fbomb and are normally PUSHED into saying it due to POOR BEHAVIOR on the part of the person receiving it. You CANNOT play the victim when YOU instigated the issue. I would suggest that in the future, YOUR HUSBAND throws away any "ashtray" he may use in a trash recepticle that is in a PUBLIC area. AS far as THEY are concerned YOU are lying through your teeth BECAUSE of the cup in the trash. Its all the proof they need to justify that charge. And THEY are NOT going to believe YOU because of the proof they have. To THEM all you are doing is trying to wiggle out of what you SHOULD have paid when you rented the room. And that's the fee for smoking. This ENTIRE situation COULD have been avoided. It IS your fault and no amount of "storytelling" on your part is going to change reality.
